Last year I competed for the first time in the USASA events at SBX. This year i want to step it up and race GS/SL but have no formal training. I upgraded my board to a Donek Saber and have never ridden it yet- but plan to race GS/SL this year (first time) so looking for someone to give me an “intro” of sorts in the technique. Looking to meet someone at the Woods Dec 6th or 7th. I plan on attending camps/clinics this winter as well- but feel like a one day session with someone knowledgeable will help kick-start my season. I don’t want to attend my first clinic having no experience on my board. I do plan on racing with soft-boots this year, as I am saving for all my gear and training so hard-boots weren’t in the budget. Thanks for any help that may be out there. Nick

Beginner Alpine snowboarder here. Raced SBX last year but want to add SL and GS this year. Looking for an Alpine specific coach in the NorthEast. I’m running into a problem finding someone that doesn’t force the “be good at everything” mantra- I have zero interest in terrain parks. Anyone have any contacts? i live in CT, but typically ride Bretton Woods. Willing to meet someone at Cannon? Preferably once a week or every other week? Should also mention I’m 16.
