  1. Thanks inkaholic and svr2 - I bought the board from D.T. ! I’ll have to stare at it all summer to get ready for next season
  2. This is awesome! I love that you took the Vette!
  3. I’m looking for a new/newish Dupraz either a 6’0” or 6x. Please let me know what you’ve got. Thanks!
  4. Thanks for the tip, this sounds perfect!
  5. I may be coming up to Spirit this week for a quick morning session. I was wondering if anyone could recommend a spot for a non-boarder/skier to comfortably hang out and read a book, preferably by a fireplace.:D Thanks!
  6. I'll be next in line if available.
  7. I read the ad as the 4 pair of boots for $150 + shipping. At $150/ pair I'm out. Still a great price at $150, but not low enough to have for extras for friends to use.
  8. I'll take them pending size check, email sent.

    Alpine coaster

[quote name= I don't know these people. But yes' date=' it is very possible to leave the track if you don't use the brakes.) [/quote] There is an alpine slide at Lutsen Mt. in Minnesota. We went there for summer vacation a couple of years in a row when I was about 12-13 and my brother was 8-9. We used to race down the slide ( two tracks next to each other). I vividly remember stopping at the bottom and watching three people get off before my brother did. He took a header on the slide, slid on his face and body and left the track. Even though he showed up at the bottom wimpering and crying I laughed just like a good brother should!

    Alpine coaster

That looks great, I wonder how many vert. feet that covers? They have one of these at Spirit Mt. in Minnesota, although it is fun it is MUCH shorter.
  12. I just tried this on my Dad when he called the other day and there was long pause before his laughter. I think I will try to get to the phone for telemarketers just to have a little fun!
  13. Look into getting a wiring harness and upgraded bulbs for your Forester. Daniel Stern lighting is a great source of information for automotive lighting. I have installed harnesses in a couple of my vehicles and it really is a night and day difference with upgraded bulbs.
  14. Thank you for meeting me to drop off the boots, they are great!
  15. I have had one Subaru that I sold with 200k+ to a family member that had an automatic (1990 Legacy Wagon) that I drove for over a 100K that had 0 issues with the automatic. My parents have an 03 Outback that has just over 100K with an automatic ( my mom can't drive a stick) and have also had 0 issues with the trans. I also prefer the stick as you do, but an auto is just fine as long as the maintenance is done. With the 1990 the car literally rusted away after almost 300K miles before any mechanical failure.
  16. Great post!! It still amazes me how many people think it is OK to put snow tires on only the front of a FWD vehicle or put new tires only on the front.
  17. This one looks nice! http://www.bomberonline.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=34306
  18. I have recently sold a couple of vehicles and found it amazing that the majority of responses from Craiglist and ebay are this type of scam. I would recommend halting any communication with this individual.

    Virus on ebay

I believe in some religions a thief is punished by cutting his right hand off. Maybe Ace can lay in a deep heelside and just take off the pinkie:)
  20. I have a 176 pow-stick and it is a great board. Floats amazingly well in the pow. The only carving was on two groomer widths midmorning after a 10 inch dump. There are some good videos on youtube of people carving with HB on Powsticks. Suprisingly it carved really well and was fun to transition from the tracked powder to the groomed....rail a carve in the groom and float through the pow. Mine is for sale in the classifieds. Overkill for Minnesota.
  21. I bought a 168 from Teach this season and have to say it is an awesome board. It is very stiff torsionally and carves very well. I am a newbie with my first season on hardboots, previous 17 years on softboots. I started with Catek os2s and really liked the board at real low angles, the last week of the season I picked up some used TD3 SW and increased the angles (still low at 45/35). With the sidewinders everything was much smoother.
  22. Andy, The board arrived today and looks great! I can't wait for snow again. Thanks for the extra care in packaging the board.
