    Boots

I just got new TD3's and they dont seem to fit well with my existing Nordicas. If anyone has a decent pair of boots I would be interested. 10.5 US or 27.5+- call Steve 617-480-7392 Boston area
  2. Ahah, the always bitter windsurfer takes a swing. The Checkerpig, woaa, wicked way back... I'm hoping to get some riding in this season. Before Sandy's diagnosis I was having some serious fun getting back up to speed. I think my old Rossignol race has finally seen its last season; its almost transparent, I wouldnt dare grind it again. All that dough? If I had all that dough I would be buying new, not chasing a used stik. But you may be right, I should splurge, its prolly the last board I'll buy, it should be something I can use over the next several years. BTW, you still blaming the family for your sedentary and geriatric lifestyle, cmon Dano, even old guys can carve, even on your antiquated Asym.... Sorry, I didnt mean to hijack the thread...
  3. Dano, whats up ugly? When are we riding? I 'm looking for a new or used Donek Axxes or Prior AWD, I ordered some TD3's hopefully the knees still have some carving left in them. Yes siree, Madd Mikes, Mike Banker.... that was when windsurfing was cool...bahhaa. friends dont let friends poleboard, gotta get ya kitesurfing..
  4. Hi Folks, like Jons post I'm also looking to get back into carving with a bit of a compromise for all mountain riding. Its been a long time since I've bought new gear. I'd like to get a All Mountain setup with plates. If I could afford new I would likely get The Donek Axxes 167-172 and a set of Standard TD3's. I 'm 46 years old 220 lbs 6'2" and currently have a 167 Rossi race vintage 90's with cheasy plate bindings and Nordica SBH boots. I want a board thats stiff enough for my weight but also intiates turns a bit faster and at lower speeds. My feet are 10.5 cm? my current board is a bit thin for my preferred stance. If anyone has a board with plates that fit my description please let me know; especially if your in the Northeast. I'm considering buying new but have reservations about my commitment to getting back into riding at a level and frequency that warrants throwing down the big bucs. I now have a couple children that need to get out on the slopes, my hope is they drag me out there and I can showem how its done old school. question, can the Donek Axxes at either the 167 or 172 handle my weight? If somebody can save me some money and keep the wife off my back I'd very much appreciate it. not sure about my newbi status, please reach me at stevo_apex(@)yahoo.com or cell 617-480-7392
