Hi Troy! I'd say the Backlands were snug-ish, in a good way—like a glove. No hot spots for me. I had problems with Deeluxe t700's. Painfully tight/narrow in the forefoot and no heel hold. The Raichles I had were 28's and the forefoot was fine, but I still had heel lift problems. 

I read that the Backland lower shell is heat moldable. It sounds like a do-it-yourself operation, not sure. I didn't need to do it and I don't think it ever was done on these, in fact, the previous owner never used the boots.

I have no problem with your payment plan. I would be more than happy to do it for you. 

I let a friend take them home to see how they fit his feet and if they would work with his ski bindings. He's a skinner upper. He said they didn't fit, but I don't have them back yet. They're yours once I get them back.
