  5. Totally agree. Kiting (snowkiting) has become my #1 passion. Still feeling the carves without fear of getting nailed from behind. Also the 3 dimensional aspect of going up . Nice video. And nice kite. Rick, Fellow Core rider in Colorado

  7. Hey there, Sorry for the late reply, I'm currently on the road, and finding I don't have internet service in many locations. Yes. I believe it is still available. I gave it back to the friend I was listing it for - as far as I know, he still has it. Let me know what you're thinking about the Shadowbox, either here or email, rickythecat at ymail.com Ricky
  8. It's been used on a snowboard/kiteboard. It mounts with little suction cups, so maybe there is enough give for any flex. If you havn't yet, check out the website.
  9. I-70 is going to be closed on Tuesday - I believe from 9:00-5:00. In honor of this, Abasin is serving free breakfast from 7:00-10:00. Cat and I are planning to be at the Basin tomorrow. Have'nt hit the slopes too much this season, but give me the right incentive and I'm there - mmmmmm bacon:1luvu: rick
  10. Sorry, I don't know the actual dates. And I don't use the resorts on the vouchers. Keystone & Breck are genarally around April 15th. A-Basin should be good into June. Check the LCI group for Loveland - they'll probably know down to the minute. Rick
  11. This didn't sell yet. Presently not on ebay. I've been cleared to lower the price to $275.00 shipping included to any BOL members. This is about half the price of new. Someone PLEASE buy this so that I'm not tempted to get it for myself:eek:
  12. I still have 5 of these left. Season's winding down. Anyone?
  13. A Shadowbox records speed, location, acceleration, jump height, jump distance, hang time, G-forcec, exact object angles, rotation degrees and spin rates and more. Check your data directly on the box, or upload the data to your computer and analyze every aspect of your performance. Attach a Shadowbox to any object, pick a sport or activity and hit 'record'....See not only what you did, but exactly where you did it via a one-click export of your ride path into Google Earth. I have listed this on ebay for a friend, but if anyone here at BOL is interested, I would rather pull from Ebay and sell directly. It's a pretty cool item. http://shadowboxlive.com/ Ebay listing: http://cgi.ebay.com/SHADOWBOX-3D-Sports-recorder-kiteboarding-snowboard-gps-/120702052234?pt=GPS_Devices&hash=item1c1a67278a
  14. I have 6 of these 'buy 1, get 1 free' vouchers for the various resorts. They can be picked up right here in Summit County (Dillon). Call 970-688- two zero four zero, or email rickythecat at ymail dot com I have purchased the stated gas requirement. Receipts are stapled to each voucher - ready to use. Just hoping someone can use these. Rick
  15. Interested, PM sent Email a phone number, I'll call you friday rickythecat@ymail.com
  16. I'll 2nd Mr T - Ace, will we be seeing you at the Basin this week?
  17. <!-- / icon and title -->Tried Keystone today. What a joke! 1/2hr wait at the only lift. Once on the snow, just wanted to get down the hill without getting hit. Glad I was on a regular snowboard though. Did one run, then headed to A-Basin. NO COMPARISON! - Parking, better snow, no lines, new high speed quad, familiar lifties, and a Snowman sighting! Cat and I hope to be at the Basin again tomorrow - this time in hardboots,(Cat on skis). Rick
  18. Enjoy my fellow cyclists...
  19. Two runs at keystone today pretty much to myself and Cat till we left at 11:00. "Richter" and "GoDevil". Groomed, varying pitches with steeps. To get to the runs, you get to leave trenches through one of the lesser used groomed terrain parks - kind of satisfying:eplus2:. Even has parking nearby if you don't want to deal with the RiverRun area and Schoolmarm. Cat and I will be there again Tuesday morning.
  20. Since the days are numbered for keystone, I'm going to give it a try tomorrow morning. Cat skied there thursday, said "Go Devil" was great - groomed and had it to herself. *A black diamond located behind Area 51, I guess that's why it doesn't get much use. *OR - Maybe the yellowjackets stop all the good skiers/boarders on Schoolmarm before they can get to GoDevil:eek: Cat and I will be at the gondola at 8:30a.m.(+/-5 min.) Rick
  21. BobD - thanks for bringing this to my attention. Didn't know this was on before - and NO intentions of creating any reactions other than humorous. A friend in the afore mentioned cycling group sent the video to me - with the same title. I also had my first thoughts on anything involving Hitler. But I saw it for what it is, humor. Hoping other Bombers, many cyclists, would enjoy. No offense intended towards anyone. Best said (thanks again BobD):
  22. Some bikers that are upset that this event got cancelled made this video.... The event is a 24 hour mountain bike race that was held in Wausau, Wisconsin. It was successful for 12 years, then new owners bought it and raised the price and made other changes.. They ran it one year, and now they just announced they are cancelling it completely this year) Hitler Reacts to 24 Hours of 9 Mile Cancellation To see the YouTube video about Hitler learning that 24-9 was canceled CLICK HERE.
  23. 2stroke - Sorry but I'll have to go with the offer from Harvey. If it falls through, I'll let you know. As for sizing, I did the best I could in the description. I'm also a 26.5, I happened to try these on again last night - I would go with thick socks. Harvey - I just sent you an email through Bomber. If it didn't go through, drop me an email - rickythecat@ymail.com
  24. I had these sent to me from Germany along with another pair of boots I am currently using. I've never used these. The name on them says Snowboarder. I would rate a 7.5 out of 10, due to scuffing (hard to see in pics - scuffs on white due to ski edges hitting boots). Some wear of black paint on metal latches. Nothing more than a season of use. Soles look practically new, MINOR wear on the heel (like maybe one walk through a parking lot). Just trying to be completely honest in my description. Liners appear new,(a 10 out of 10)- lace fronts, then insert into boot - boot tongue folds forward for very easy insertion, - then buckle boot. There is a power strap at the top of the liner. Another one at the top of the boot. I've only tried these on once - today - and laced up - to check sizing. This system seems very comfortable (of coarse, I'm only standing in my livingroom). My thought was that these can work well for AT, or snowboard plate bindings. Boot tongue says: 8 - 9 1/2 L Liner says: 8 1/2 Liner tongue says: 13/L Mondo Sizing: 27.5 -- This is unofficial, but Probably the most Accurate of all these listed sizes, not marked anywhere. Determined by fitting socked foot in the boot comfortably, then placing socked foot - heel against wall - and measuring in centimeters. (That would be 10 3/4 inches) SOLD :)
  25. I don't remember, what's powder - I live in Summit County:freak3:
