Couple of reasons we groomed: the forecast was calling for fairly stiff winds at the back-end of the snow, so that was going to just blow everything into drifts, and expose nasty hard-pack below. Also, we tend to be somewhat steepness-challenged, and 10" of fresh powder, while beautiful and all, would be damn-near impossible for most Minnesota skiers & boarders to get through.
