  1. I'll be coming up with lance. Andrea, ill have your coiler. No clue what ill be riding, probably my tommy.
  2. Amongst the trails that are open, its awesome coverage with no thin spots that I saw and no jibs or jumps
  3. Lots of fun was to be had except for this old gaper in softboots that kept skidding and following me around for some runs around noon..
  4. The grooming is horrible this year..this has been three days at east for me where the grooming is some of the worst I've seen.
  5. We had the USASA GS 1 and 2 at MH last Saturday and I grabbed firsts in both races. I'm in jams this year.
  6. I'm 18, carving since I was 14..you're not falling hard enough
  7. Hey guys, I'm back. Here are some frames pulled from a GoPro video my brother shot of me today
  8. I'll be around racing in Jr
  9. We are only supposed to get like extra 2.5 foot waves out of this..Smaller than what was forecast anyway. All the extra currents screw up our breaks for a couple weeks though.
  10. I was actually just curious about the tip because some newer Monsters I've seen looked kinkless and I wasn't sure if that was just a product of the topsheet.
  11. There is something so incredibly badass about needing a lifejacket on a quad..
  12. When I wrote an essay on this last year, I found out that Canadian fuel prices break down to like 35% taxes versus roughly 15% for the United States. When I did the research, Canada had 11% of the population, 12% of the number of refineries, and roughly 11% of the oil consumption of the United States.
  13. Are there are any tip profile pictures of this board? The rocker looks surprising abrupt. I'm not interested in purchasing the board, but here are some insulting remarks about its design. You might want to contact Mammoth Mountain. I heard they lost a toboggan in a snow cat incident. ;) Alternative bad jokes: I heard they lost some fencing in a wind storm. Some of the benches were lost over the side. They are installing a new bar. Their supply of pallets was stolen. They need to patch a garage door.
  14. Given he said gauge, he probably measured the bail.
  15. I ended up doing miles and miles of switch nose butters on my GS board in Mammoth. Passing the time on cat tracks in Mammoth...
  16. Chatter underfoot with the nose still engaged? EDIT: I'm almost certain that's what it is because the board is throwing chatter spray. Pretty interesting if that is the case, and it shows why slalom boards are more prone to the undulating chatter marks at the bottom half of the turn, where shallower sidecut boards have a tendency to fall down the hill.
  17. Burning ten runs on one was enough for me to find it wasn't my cup of tea. Rocking the 8m sidecut or whatever the Easy Jungle had was fun but the stance just didn't work for me. Riding 90/90 angles was still not symmetrical from what I experienced.
  18. Yup. Thias Easy Jungle. It felt very toesidey on heelside. Maybe this effect would be diminished if I spent more time on one.
  19. I think the reason there is no front and back is because your heelside isn't afforded the mobility...It becomes as intrinsically weak as a toeside.
  20. Carving is either hairy or boring when with non-carvers. I much prefer partying in the trees, bumps, or the park if I'm with people my age.
  21. My 21 cm Tomahawk feels faster edge to edge than my 20 cm Coiler because it's so much more balanced. Having the additional stability of 7-8* lower angles more than makes up for whatever sluggishness could be attributed to the wider waist.
  22. Morcheeba is HUGE down here thanks to a radio show called the Big Sonic Chill. Hadn't listened to her in a long time though, thanks!
  23. Get an Apex plate and mount it to that. It works great. :D
  24. Your picture helped me a ton yesterday.. Since your pants are tight to your legs and you have the composure of being outside a course, everything is very obvious. I was already riding with divergent knees, but it wasn't even close to enough. I was at like 18 inches apart in the knees and I spread them even further after looking at your picture, and it worked fantastically carving through slush bumps. I used to get knocked up in the air on heelside in slushy bumps, and the only way I was able to keep carving was natural athletic ability. This is much more fun to have the stability. T
