  1. Hey! I'm looking for a TD2 or TD3 step-in, but am curious to finally give the sidewinders a try! I have the UPZ RC-10 in 26 with intec heels, and read people had fit problems with their 26 UPZ boots in the sidewinders. Can you tell me what year these bindings are? According to fin, post #5, if they are post-2010, there shouldn't be a need to flip the blocks around... Any info appreciated :-)
  2. Keenan, we must have posted at the same time, because somehow my previous comment just disappeared. Thanks for coming out with me and giving me some good pointers. I am installing 0 cant bindings right now, brought my old step-in Blax bindings, and will see how riding flat will make me feel. I will also take the Madd out today :-) We finished our day with an Irish coffee, walked back to our car, but it wouldn't jump. What a buzz killer at 0 Fahrenheit. It's been a while since I experienced such cold temps!
  3. Hi Keenan, awesome!!! Definitely let me know if Tuesday afternoon would work. Just spent 2hr working on my binding setup... Thank you :-)
  4. I guess deleting is not possible. Sorry for this post.
  5. I will be there from Tuesday, 12/30 until Thursday, and would love to link up with someone who can instruct me a little. Really need help with my heel side turn, maybe looking at my setup/stance, and body positioning as I am going down the mountain. I've been on an alpine board since 2007, and feel I have bad habits due to never having had lessons. Won't be able to come to SES next year, and spent plenty of time reading the Carver's almanac, but theory only just doesn't work for me. Any info appreciated. Will be back in the Tahoe area for the rest of the season, so if anyone would ever consider giving me a full day lesson, or knows of an instructor, please speak up as well. Of course I am willing to pay, I am really serious about improving. Thank you.
  6. Hi! I probably should have asked before ordering. Just ordered a TD3 2nd board kit with 3 degree front and 6 degree rear disk. I forgot the setup of my current bindings, and don't have the board here to check, but I seem to remember that I can use each disk on either the front OR the rear, but am confused now that bomber is letting me choose between "front" and "rear". Does it matter? Thanks.
  7. oh they will sell :-) thank you anyway, i saw someone already placed a bid on them.
  8. Would have been super cool to have a BUY NOW option... Bidding around Christmas time, traveling... Not easy :-( Please PM me with your price if you are up for that.
  9. ...before I go ahead and buy a new second board kit, wondering if anyone is selling their used TD2's step-ins? I am flexible with disk angles and rings, am currently using a 3 and 6 degree disk and really like that setup. Make me an offer.
  10. Hey Brian, thanks so much for your reply and your offer to help! I did not know the TD3's work with TD2's, so that was a very helpful hint. I am not set on TD2, so I will just go ahead and get the TD3 kit. Wonderful :-)
  11. I'll take a complete TD2 set too...
  12. Would like to buy one. Can only see TD1 and TD3 kits in the bomber shop!? They stopped selling them? http://bomberonline.3dcartstores.com/Binding-Accessories_c_25.html Thank you.
  13. Still looking. Anyone?lu

    TD2 2nd Brd Kit

hey, thanks for responding to my "want to buy" post! I'd love the kit, but not with all 4 disks. would you sell it with the 3 and 6 degree cants? lemme know... either arrangement you are willing to sell, please consider me first in line. thank you.
  15. in need of a second board kit, 3 degree preferred but open to 6 and 0. 4 cant disk. make me an offer! thank you :)
  16. ...got the same model = same top sheet, but my base sheet is completely black. I assume it must be the same year anyway: purchased in March 2007. No idea when Prior puts up their new product line, but I assume they design their new models for each new season, which makes me further assume it's a 2006/2007 season model.
  17. i bought an eliminator in 2003, black with flames. i am almost certain F2 produced eliminators in black and some flame since then... this thing looks ancient!! a german google search turned up a review written in 1999, and the pic shows the model you posted: http://www.ciao.de/F2_Eliminator__Test_224541
  18. just don't let your nose dive in the pow, as this will result in a painful contortion of your body.
  19. my mom will be visiting from germany, and i just requested either of the kirkwood days off. can't make two days due to work, but hope one day will be approved. i probably will know the day before... i will drag my mom along, and i so desperately want to try a metal coiler
  20. i recently made the mistake of trying to ride down to the parking lot through powder. turns out the powder down there was covered with mud from the cars. i took a tumbler, and you can imagine how i looked like after that. mud baths give beautiful skin  don't think there is a good way of getting out of the powder other then being patient and laugh your troubles off...
  21. I met Peter last week, did he take that pic? I also saw Jana, she passed me with a big smile when I was just getting on the lift... Is it the Virus? Would love to meet her next time, another Euro-Girl in hardboots, yeah!!! Is she on this forum?
  22. Randy, is this in Kirkwood? Thought it would be at the end of the season there, around April 25. Val has been trying to convince me to do this too. But I think I will chicken out on this.:o
  23. To adjust the bindings, BlueB explained what I have to do. I assumed I need to unscrew everything, and while I tried to loosen the long screw, the nut on the other end turned too. So I tried to hold the nut in place so it doesn't turn, and that's when the trouble started. Apparently the way to do it is EASY!! The nut is SUPPOSED to turn! Only thing necessary is to turn the screw with a Philips and the block will automatically move, millimeter by millimeter. If I would have known earlier
