Do you ride Thurs days or nights. I usually can only get out weekday nights. I have about a season and a half in hard boots. These guys are great teachers, they've sure helped me out.
Hey-- picked up an old Sector 9 that I've been playing around with. Feels good to be back on a skateboard. Do you have any wheel and bushing recommendations? I'm mostly interested in pumping & carving not that crazy downhill stuff. Local skate shop couldn't really help.
Thanks,
David
Just got back from a night at Blue. Crispy balls of ice. Not mine, Blues. Blues balls as it were.
Anyway, had fun. I am thinking of taking the kids skiing Saturday, might take my board also. It should be better during the day with sun on it.
Not so sure about a road trip, though. What are the details?
David
after work this week?
Probably go after work next week too, with the family.
I'm still trying to get it, but had to smile when I saw a softbooter trying to stay in my lines.
Wow, great idea. Going to be tough for me to make a week day, though I am still planning on some more week nights, maybe even this week. Palm Sunday isn't too good either. MAYBE I could be there in the afternoon.
I have never used them before. I've only got 3 days in hard boots. I've been using some Burton variplates on an FP.
I was planning on looking at the Carver's Almanac because I think there is some info on setting these up.
Joe- yes, I was on the Factory Prime. I have a lot of stuff to work out: binding angles, boot adjustments, stance width, technique...
It felt good by the end of the night, but still figuring it all out.
Got to Blue last night. The Highschool groups had scraped most of the mountain off. First time in hard boots. Little dicey at first, but started to get the hang of it. Found my way to Paradise and made a good night of it.
This much precip as snow would have fixed everything.
