  1. I'll try that after I grind a bit of my boot away to make them fit in the binding. Thanks for the help.
  2. One thing I think is wrong with them is that some models do not accept a size 12 boot. I just bought a new set of Race and can't use them without grinding my boots down. They almost work. I will have to buy smaller boots now.

    GS board

I have a barely used 2006 F2 RS 173 and I need a wider board cause I have size 12 boots. Yellow with wood. The board has been ridden twice. It has a 19 cm waist but too narrow for me. More of a racing board than I need.
  4. Now I am realizing a big problem. My huge size 12 boots are too big for the bindings. I have adjusted the toe and heel all the way out and can't get my fat ass boot in them. I guess I will continue to ride the trusty old 1995 Hot Logical asym until I get a chance to ride some demos at ECES and buy a new set up.
  5. I am going to stay at Sugar but hope to ride Beech tomorrow and when family comes up for the rest of the week, I will have to ride Sugar. Thanks for the advice. I will try the narrow stance and see how it feels.
  6. I bought a new set of Sno Pros and am mounting them on a slightly used 179 Hot Blast. I am 6' 215 lbs. I hear a lot about cant and no cant. What's the recommendation. I am tempted to try it with no cant and then add later if needed. Bindings came with 3 and 6 degree and heel and toe lift stuff. I am going to the NC mountains tomorrow but there are no shops there with any experience with plate bindings and hard boards any longer. Thanks.
  7. I am still riding a few 12-15 yr old Hot Logicals 155-164 that are too stiff and a little short for my 215 lbs. I used to weigh less. Sorry, but I still love the 164. I want to hear more about the Blade after you or anyone else has had it out on good groomed cruisers all day. I want a new set up NOW but think I'll wait and demo some stuff at the ECES. From all that I have been reading on all these forums, it seems that I will clearly realize what have been missing after trying a longer wider symetrical board with a little more flex. I want to buy the right one. There is a lot of positive talk about the metal Prior and to hear some of the Swoard guys talk about the Swoard, it is the only board to buy. I think it was a Colier I saw with a sweet flame on it but all I read about it was about the graphic. I want to buy the right one because the last time I bought I did some research, think I found the best of that era and it has stuck by me for many years and still carves well. If I buy the right one, it should last too. So many choices, so few thousand dollar bills...
  8. I wish everybody was scared of NOS and used eqpt cause then I could buy it cheaper. My newest board I ride is about 15 yrs old and I still carve the poop out of it. I love outcarving everyone on the mountain with my asym 164 Hot Logical. Tough as nails.
  9. I am considering a Blade. Have you riden it enough to know if you like it yet?
  10. I will arrive late on the 12th or early on 13th. I can be quite. I am from NC and will be traveling solo. I sent an e-mail with an attachment to the address on your website. I am new to bomber community and SES but not to carving. My everyday gear is retro. I want to save some on lodging so I can buy some new gear while there. Grey
