    Catek OS1

Pete, Shipping to AU is $165. I have a feeling these bindings are going to stay state side. Greg

    Catek OS1

Catek OS1 with long and short plates. $125 shipped. Paypal, please.
  3. I wouldn't ride without the bumpers. Without this you stand the chance of over stressing the board at the disc and possibly damaging the top sheet of the board with the ends of the power plate.

    FS - Donek FC1 170

Why did you do it? You're out of your element Donny.
  5. My personal favorites are my Outdoor Research Goretex mitts. Not sure the exact model, but they've got a removeable primaloft liner and one of the best palm materials I've ever used. I've got 2 seasons on them and no visible wear.
  6. As for me, I've probably spent half my season on a 167 Cross in softies. It carves great and this setup has been pretty forgiving for me as I recover from last summer's knee surgery. It's Cliffh's board (thanks for the loan) and I'm positive he'll have some good things to say about the "whale" (only a whale compared to some).
  7. Tex, I needed to update my email. Please resend and I'll get back to you as soon as I can. Greg
  8. The name on the board is 90mph Ginsu though I don't think It's ever seen that speed. It does carve nicely but I can't accurately compare it to a Ginsu either.
  9. Maybe a dozen. Definitely no more than 20.
  10. Don't even think about it!!!!
  11. I've ridden a Nidecker Escape 174 with Catek Freerides. Not a full on carving setup, but pretty close. I don't have the stiffest soft boots around, and was able to crank turns no problem. It was actually the first time I was ever able to grab an edge in a heelside turn. I rode the front binding somewhere around 45 deg. Granted, it wasn't the best for side support, but it did work. Greg
  12. Email me at garmstrong1 @ cox.net. I may be able to help you. Greg
  13. Pat, We'll probably be there and ready to ride by 8am first lift. Greg
  14. Buggs, Glad to hear the back is in shape for some riding this year. You looked good out there. Pat, great improvements thru the day. Lood for us Saturday at Okemo. Greg "The Rhode Island guy"
  15. Email me at gaarmstrong at netzero dot net. I have a couple pairs of the World Cup Black bindings. I'm sure we can work out a deal. GA
  16. And I thought the little blip of ice on what I thought was wet pavement was a big deal. Bring on the COLD!!!! :D
  17. Unfortunately I am serious although I no longer own the boots. Way too much of a race fit for my liking. I couldn't ride more than 2 days. The third day I'd be crying for soft boots. I only put in about 8 days before buying a pair of size 27 Deeluxe Suzukas. My feet are once again happy. There is such a thing as too small. Greg
  18. Like you, i'm an 11 street shoe. I wound up squeezed into a pair of S-LTD's in a 26.5 earlier this season. Not the right boot for me. Partially because of the small size (race fit), but mostly because of the stiffness of the boot. That being said, you definitely don't want anything larger than your foot measures. It took a few days to pack out the liners, but once packed out, they were actually quite comfortable while riding. I'd suggest a 27 -27.5, whatever you can comfortably fit into. Greg
  19. Jeremiah, Cliff, Mark and I will be hitting Stratton early both days. We'll look for you. Greg
  20. TommyD, I've got a box full of stanless socket head cap screws, and will be at Stratton next Monday and Tuesday. My housemates should be up this weekend as well. Let me know if you want a set. Greg
  21. Sunday was so good all I can remember about Saturday was the one bounce i took after overloading the nose and burying it in soft stuff. Sunday rocked all the way around. The Donek FC 185 was awesome, but that 171 you were on was just as good Cliff. Can't wait to follow those lines again!! Still smiling, Greg
  22. I rode Waterville last Monday. No crowds of course being a weekday, but it still got a bit scratchy in the afternoon. Morning was good groomed granular though.
