  1. Hi Jack, I just noticed that I'm getting double charged for my support payments once on 14-16 and again on 20-22, Looks like it's been going on for a while w/out me realizing, cancel them both for me and I'll set it up again on a different card.

    Thans,

    Troy

  3. guess that's just in mountaineering circles
  4. LOL Powtards is my new fav, imma use that next chance I get. "Mountain Etiquette" used to be a thing that was expected of people.
  5. I got strafed buy a boarder on a steep run last year; I spun around to look uphill, (I hadn't looked uphill for 3-4 turns) another coming by on the other side so I pullup short and catch the heel edge on a clump of snow, backwards down the hill broke the collar bone in 4 pieces . I rode down and a friend talked the patrol into checking me out... 2 weeks after 11 screws and 2 plates put it back together, I go out on skis the 1st time to take it easy with less chance to fall over. Beginner run out 60yd from the deck, blind sided and yardsaled. lucky to have landed on the other shoulder. I was on skis he was on a board what's on your feet don't matter!!! It's ignorance and lack of education, Signs don't cut it, just background noise. Courtesy no longer exists. I will never ski another weekend day at any resort except Turner that is only open on weekends,
  6. to me it's a hometown family reunion (I'm from Libby and rode the t-bar) where we party and watch the most amazing collection of niche sport carving talent on the continent. The Tribe is apropos.
  7. feels like I'm watch the end of the world in slow motion
  8. not enough for/aft flex for snowboarding and the toe to shell interface is questionable, probably better off with backlands to step back & forth between ski & board, unless you need a stiff skiboot.
  9. I had talked to Mark about a replacement for my old BX and he recommended the CC+, once you start linking those heelside carves heels 1st, feels like a whole new world of riding before you! ps wear a helmet, brainstem plants happen!
  10. Ink is right about trying to keep the stance you know. A wider board and a little extra splay will be your friend. Falling leaf to flat spins both ways on wide boards are great practice and how I learned switch on both ski's and hardboots. Your normal toe heel lifts and stance width + a couple cm's, and the rear foot as low an angle as you and boot out are comfortable with. I've settled on 10-15 degrees of slpay on all boards which is why I'm not into skinnies to much, the stability and versatility I get from 30*b/45*f is more fun for me but I can still lean on the boots for hard carving. p.s. too much taper is trickier, my twin tip Identity 170 x 25 was really built for it p.p.s. On alpine gear keep in mind you're going backwards like a skier goes switch not sideways like a duck stance, think heels 1st, this helped me a lot!
  11. sacrifice a pineapple on your ULLR fire! ps could be epic, welcome to the inland nortwest
  12. Would love to meet Kildy at MCC, but if not maybe he;ll send a demo?
  13. I have the voile canted pucks, could get to maybe 35* on the front with the voile slider, I got 42^ front by slightly offsetting the toe and heel on the slider with an old binding.to get the stance width I like +/-20" I have to use the voile STS toe pieces because the dynafit style front lever is in the way, Like my old setup
  14. ch1 midway laps and ch6 will live in my heart forever,,,it's real estate venue with a chair lift amenity.
  15. all it takes is 1 good rock shot and you have yourself a performance rock board. after 30yrs I have a whole collection of rock boards!
  16. I love to step in, on the go, down the ramp, don't stop at all, just like I would on skis. you cant do that w/toe levers.
  17. 27 yr old all metal bindings (like mine and Mark's) can be customized but Russ's angles are pretty extreme, Mark adds like a 3" heel lift block on the back foot,
  18. if td3 6* cant disc is not enough a custom shim under the toe/heel block should get you there.
