  1. Has anybody have information on discounts so far in NH and VT? I am jonesing right now to ride and planning to hit Sunnapee ASAP.
  2. Will any fellow carvers be at Sunnapee on the 18th? A fellow co-worker and I are calling in a mental health day and will be carving for the first time this year. I have been rehabing my knee, so I will be praying a little. I will be on a Mistral 175 with an old army gortex jacket. Cheers!
  3. I just got back from a year in Afghaistan and is jonesing to ride. Where do you meet to ride. I was looking at the map and I was wondering if was worth driving up to ride. Cheers!
  4. To All, Thanks for the suggestions! I am preparing to go to Afghanistan, so I figure I might as well carve on some pieste (sp?) next year. Now I got to figure out to rent a car, carving board and hard boots. I will try to figure something out by next week. Will any of you be on the slopes then? I will by a few pints or liters of beer afterwards. Cheers! Bob
  5. I am stationed In Kaiserslautern, Germany waiting to go down range and I just found out that I will get the American holiday of Thanksgiving (Nov 25th and 26th) off. I am trying to figure out where to go: Germany or Switzwerland to ride? I was doing some research and Zermat, Saas Fee and Les Diablerets are open in Switzerland and Garmish for Germany. Where is the best ride for the Euro or Franc? Thanks in advance Bob:)
  6. I am planning to fly from England to mainland Europe and wonder where are the best places to carve on the in the Alps and the best deal. It seems like England loves package deals are there any good companies that people rate highly or ones to avoid? Thanks in advance, Bob :)
  7. Hei hei Pokkis, I use to date a lady who is from Tampere and went to Jyvasylan Yliopisto. Thank you and Mats for the recommendations for Hemsedal and Trysil. I might go in April if my boss signs off on the travel. I heard there was a resort in Northern Norway that was open into May or June. Kippis! Bob
  8. Päivää, Thank you for the tips, Ifigure they got to be good because Norway hosted the Olympics. If they are not as bigas the Alps and more carvable, but cheaper. That is all right by me. I am wondering what resorts are carve friendly or ones to avoid. Kiitos hyvää, Bob:)
  9. I might be able to go to Scandinavia (Norway or Sweden) in the near future for work. I am wondering if the resorts there are just as good as Alps and cost wise will they break the bank? Cheers! Bob:)
