  1. OK Dave. Sold--thanks. Paypal to ajcdice@hotmail.com And, for "eaglez", you are indeed out of the loop. The metal disks are no longer made and quite rare compared to ubiquitous plastic burton discs that are still made. Metal makes a stiffer ride and better security on otherwise soft burton plates. Add in that they are 4 hole pattern that can be used on any board, not regular burton 3 hole pattern that most of teh discs were produced in and they are even rarer. Fast forward several years since they have been made and that the guy buying them has 10 posts in the last year looking for them. They are also virtually in new shape. All that adds up to rare, hence $50. The next time you are selling something eaglez, you probaly wouldn't want others to drop in and question the price you are getting, right? Right.
  2. Dave, Not getting your emails. You have been posting actively for a year that you want a set these. If email is not working for you, make a fair offer in a post. ac
  3. Cant plates sold. Still listening on the disks. ac
  4. Clearing out some stuff that I know is still in demand these days. Burton 4 hole aluminum disks in great condition. Burton plastic offset (for good cant angles) disks in great condition. Burton "high" 4x4 cant plate. Burton "low" 4x4 cant plate. Make offers! If not sold, to eBay sunday nite. Thanks andrew email for more pictures ajcdice@hotmail.com
  5. I have a set, but like the other guy said, it has to be worth giving these things up. Mine are in very good shape with the red writing--bought them in Stowe in mid 90's. andrewc@robbreport.com
  6. yes, still have it.
  7. Hitting Jay this weekend--tough finding lodging!. Mothball the Madd, hello Fish! The trees are calling! :D
  8. As a glasses wearer (but not contacts), i finally have a sweet setup i like. Bolle (annoying company) Scream goggles with prescription RX insert-a system unique to them. This is their fanciest goggle (still not fancy compared to Oakley or other brands' best) and the RX is not cheap either, but its nice finally having great vision. I use a vermillion lens in the day and clear at night.
  9. Startinggate did the same thing for me a few years back in my 325's. Size 8 shell, thermoflex a few sizes bigger. I am basically a 10 wide, but only 8 long. This reduction helps for overhang issues. Great fitters there if not a tad expensive in their equipment prices.
  10. Haven't been to Jay this year yet, but i go there a lot. If you have been there, disregard. If you havent, the best carving runs are usually around the Jet triple. That said, Jay is more fun in the woods than on the trails--bring two boards in case!
  11. About 5 days on it. Make an offer if you like. Its the blue to white fade graphics. ajcdice@hotmail.com
  12. I got hit in the chest with a snowball at Wachusett last week riding under the lift. I guess those young punks didnt like my style. :p
  13. The Lightsaber (Xmas gift to myself) as discussed in the beginning of this thread is now ready to go. I feel as if i got very good deal with it already PTC'ed. Thanks eBay, Mike and Shaggy. I cant wait to ride it! AC
  14. I have two Burton lift/cant plates for sale. They are the style that are rectangular, not the round ones. ajcdice@hotmail.com
  15. I have an '04 Axis 172 and I am the same hgt/wgt as you. It is maneuverable and it can go in the trees too at that length. Any longer and you are limiting what you can do off-piste and you might as well buy an FC in that case. Great board, the Axis.
  16. Haven't bought a new one in 5 years, still using my old Boeri. Looking for a new one. Any recommendations? Thanks ac
  17. I dont use a sniper, Speedzilla, you can see that by my multiple bids. I am just experienced in last minute bidding by hand from years of collecting in the vintage BMX world. Sometimes you don't know how fast soemeone else is bidding, so i just keep upping my own bid without taking the time to stop and pat myself on the back for being in the lead.
  18. I won the auction. I know there are certainly people that fall on either side of praising or trashing these boards, but I wanted to add one to the quiver and did so very reasonably, IMO. AC
  19. Will be at Wachusett lots o' nights this year. Look for an orange Donek. ac
  20. Yet another testimonial, late, as I have been out of the loop. I am happy to support this company, its ownership and the products they have built. Truly an asset to the alpine community. Off to get my butter! Good luck Andrew
  21. I was there on my orange Donek. Nice to meet JG and his friend whose name i dindt catch on a Coiler. Nice carving conditions. ac
  22. Besides the stiffness factor, isnt the FP wood while the UP is composite?
  23. Jim, The official name of the Liquid is "Race 169." It has Mike K's signature on it as well. AC
  24. Just had a great first 2 days on my new Donek. Thanks to Mike at Precision Tuning/Summit for a killer structure job and great edges--it really rails! Anyone in Massachusetts in need of shop work needs to see them. Thanks again! Andrew C
