Yeah Valdez is really nice.....only as long as mother nature lets it. I usually boarded at Mount Alyeska in Girdwood. I loved it there. As of right now all i have is an all mountain board: Arbor crossbow. I dont mind spring conditions i just dont want to drive all the way from MA and not be able to go. Although the road trip would be nice.

hey me and a buddy are planning a trio to CO for some spring snowboarding and i was just curious what the conditions are normally like in April? We are thinking of the second to third week in April.... When do the resorts normally close for the season?

I am gettin anxious to ride. Too bad my board is still up in AK or else i would be up there this weekend.

I too have a soft bag that i travel with for my board. I placed all my gear in with my board when i traveled up to Alaska. When i got there i didnt see it in the baggage claim area.....I finally asked someone where it might be and they said it was placed in an oversize luggage area away from the luggage belt. Anyone could've walked away with it since it wasnt even being watched. I will be bringing my board as well as my sons board back in this bag when i travel from Alaska after the Holidays. I am hoping i dont run into any problems.

I was looking at the sixsixone site they have a couple braces that look pretty beefy and the cost is alittle lower.

OK its set I have tickets to go.....does anyone know about parking there(at the berkley center)? I have heard horror stories but i dont wanna pay alot of money for parking.

Do they know what Co will be there? I would be down.
