FYI, before someone completely embarrasses themselves... Alexa does drop by BomberOnline and read the posts sometimes.
So back in 2003 I had no clue who Alexa Loo was. I only talked to her because I took a telemark clinic with a friend of hers and saw the bunch of them at a mtb consignment sale at Crankworx in Whistler. She gave me her business/promo card by Sundog. Ah well. . .
Home-grown heroes that I've met; it'll be fun to watch the team leading up to the 2010.

You have multiple responses?
-
Thanks for the heads up, but still looking for a 200cm

Snow covers the slopes,
I hope winter comes quickly,
Have Tanker to sell?
-
I'd like to go, so I worked up a schedule with an event that I'm interested in for every day of the Olympics: I'm up to $3,000. . .It might be easier for me to get into the national SBX team than getting the tickets I want, though, I've never raced before. Ahahah.
So I submitted a volunteer application first, and, will figure out the ticket thing in a bit.

Do you have a 200cm Tanker you're willing to sell?
I'd like to hear from you!

I work all year long in a desk job. Swivel-chair spread sets in if I'm not careful.Just be glad you don't work all year long in a chairjob.I remember the previous season started with lots of sore abs at the end of the day, and breathlessness after hiking. So adding more core and cardio work on top of what I normally do. Starting some kite-boarding, and longboarding this summer.

Awesome choice eh!
Well, west coast has its extremes, J.P. at my roommate's hearing was hot.But what is up with that squinty eyed magistrate.I know you have some liberal laws up there in the Western part of Canada particularly but that is ridiculous.
I think that judge is a Member of the Order of Canada.

MCL's still off and I couldn't bring my 4wd. On softies riding easy. Anyway, apartment's number is 604 932 6545 (I'm JSL). Maybe Sunday though, want to be able to ride on Friday for some demo rides.I could ride with you on Thursday. Let me know if you're interested in taking some runs together.Cypress Crew: What board should I bring - 174 Prior 4WD or 175 Coiler Freecarve? I prefer riding the Coiler but I'm worried about soft conditions.

Yeah I guess that suggestion did come across, uhm, oops; I shouldn't compose posts when cramming stuff between batches and reports. I'd just received mixed news from an interview I had in Vancouver. It was a bit disheartening (but had other leads) so when I saw. . .Huh? Somehow you've got it wrong... We are not snow bums, just ordinary hard working people. Yes, we do ride a lot, especially Dave. Blessed with the mountains on our door step, all it takes is a bit of determination and planning...
. . .I got a bit envious of Vancouver's proximity and presence to significantly more interesting mountains. Anyway, I have it even less wrong since lately in the range of duties I do, to design (applications, reports, systems) is more interesting than to support (unsophisticated technology users). Hm...Another fun day at the "office"... -
IT Applications Support Analyst, but, I want BlueB's and Dave*'s jobs instead.

So you're also heading in from Toronto eh? I'm heading over to Whistler this Saturday but leaving the 20th; maybe I'll be able to catch up with you guys before heading to the airport?Wow guys, I feel so honoured. Looking forward to meeting everyone. -
I choose sellers in the US based on whether they will ship USPS. If not, they don't get my business, period.
Up to now, all sellers of snowboards I've approached insist that USPS will not accept a snowboard and worse, insist on UPS. Regarding USPS, I know that's not the case.
So I won't buy from anyone who ship via UPS only.
I'm not the only one who considers it an irritation, there's a class action filed in the Province of British Columbia:
-
A $350 USD snowboard of 158 cm shipped from Vermont to Ontario cost $50 USD for shipping via UPS.
The seller sent it via UPS.
For that, I paid an extra $100 CAD of fees and taxes to UPS when the snowboard was delivered.

Bang: an injury might have ended this season early.
Other than that, one party in Whistler in April and that's that. It's like buying time because the season in Ontario is long over by then. I return to dry and hopefully clean roads and the motorcycle is taken out of storage.

Je vais à Mt-Tremblant, de 21 à 23 décembre.

Oo, I remember Dave. I ran into him in the Whistler gondola during the WSSF. Saw the orange tiger stripe Dianese helmet and the alpine board so I struck up a conversation with him about hardbooting.
Ah well, I'm back out east. Should be back in out west soon.

I'm only able to go from the 9th to the 12th. Are you looking for someone to stay the entire duration eh? Could I kick in for the cost for those days?Allee - not a problem for me. Scott - you still interested? Anyone want to make 4, and then we could grab one of the St Moritz condos assuming they are still available.
??? For your tuba?I'll bring some of my tuning tools :) -
Seems like Air Canada ( ) is putting a squeeze on baggage. AC wants passengers to register sports equipment when booking a flight:Check YOUR airline and ask questions. Requirements and limitations have tightened and folks are getting hit with substantial overage charges.I hear about 200$ overage costs frequently!!! Be informed, things are changing.

Although I'm riding my softies this weekend, anyone heading up to WB this weekend? I'm hoping my flight out of Toronto to Van isn't delayed too much, a bunch of Vancouver flights are cancelled or three hours late. . .

If I can find it, I'll stick onto my helmet my ministry of transportation issued green "N" when I got my learner's permit awhile back :DAre newbies welcome? Will you make me wear a "New Carver" sign (like the "New Driver" signs)? -
First go at SES, or any ES for that matter. Should be fun?
-
Is there someone who'd like to share accomodations and transportation to and from the Denver airport? I'd like to go to SES this year, but I'm only able to go from Saturday, February 9th to the 12th (Tues).
I like to think I'm pretty chill, 2am tuba doesn't bother me, nor do fish dishes, I can't sing so I won't sing in the shower, or anywhere else.
