  1. I am not sure what to tell you for the concept. @Shred Gruumer said that I should try a wider stance and 6 degree cants, so I did and found it to be quite comfortable. I did not change my boot lean with the change. I just try different combos till I find what works for me.
  2. On video because I edit it out.
  3. 2019 MCC Tuesday and Wednesday. 18-24 on Tuesday and 18-24 on Wednesday. Top to bottom fall line powder turns all day long, with the coolest people on the planet. Hoping for a repeat of that one of these years!
  4. Yes my front boots are more vertical than my back boots. This set up is what works for me. My suggestion is to ride and tweak until you find your sweet spot.
  5. Yes, first two photos front boot. When setting them up, I just tweaked them until I found where I like them while riding. 5mm Allen works great for tuning to your liking. Red springs on carving set up, yellow on pow setup. there really is no right or wrong with boot and binding setup, only what works for you.
  6. @fluxgamethey do not have the ability to mold liners at the Turner ski shop.
  7. Let me check with Perry that runs the ski shop at Turner.
  8. @fluxgame If you need to ship new boots to Libby, you can have them shipped to my parents place there and I can get them to you Sunday evening before the event. Yes good run on the life of those. We saw at least 2 old boots explode last year at MCC. See you soon!
  9. It all depends on one of the variables I have no control over…weather. We have had 4 days of great carving, and 4 days of mega powder on the first year of the event. There should be plenty of powder boards between the demos and rental boards at ski shop. See you all soon!
  10. Looking good! Don’t forget to bring a pow setup! https://powderchasers.com/forecasts/Powder-Alert-Northern-Rockies-Interior-BC-New-England
  11. Our fine partners at Sol SunGuard will be providing some amazing swag! These are some of the finest sun screen I have ever used!
  12. I use more forward lean on back boot. Running 6degree lift on front toe and 6 degree lift on back heel. lots of ways to find what is comfortable and works well.
  13. Yes the cable does wear out over time, but if you follow the procedure that Fin originally had in the directions. "Push down on your heel, then pull cable to release" you will limit the strain on the internals. Opening them up once a year to grease and inspect will lengthen the life. I switched from toe bail to all step-in after many broken bails and a few crazy scary one footed carves. I have not had a single step-in binding release without my desire to. Make sure the pins are engaged and ride.
  14. SkyVault Media with the help of @Jcar on some of the GoPro cam. Still a few spots left.
  15. @big canuck ahh bummer. I miss understood your message on your AlpinePunk thread.
  16. @big canuckare you joining in on the WTF? What dates?
  17. @big canuck you and your son should join us at Montucky! It would be great to see you again!
  18. I rode one of these at one of the SES session. Super fun and forgiving board. Great edge hold and quiet ride. Quite rare!
  19. @crackaddict not sure if it is the snow, board change or bending knees a little, that looked super duper smooth. Looking forward to riding again with you.
  20. Update! @crackaddict will be hosting a softboot carving clinic on 2/8/23 from 1-3 meeting at the base. James is an exceptional & stylish carver on any gear. James style of teaching is as smooth as his riding. Lots to be learned from James. @StrangeFuture808 will be hosting a "How to Analyze your own Riding" geared towards Hardbooter's 2/8/23 1-3 meeting at the base. Jordan has 25 years of being a Canadian instructor with a ton of knowledge to share.
  21. Great Riding and Filming @crackaddict and @StrangeFuture808! Looking forward to riding with you at MCC!
  22. Turner is in pretty good shape. Had some really nice riding the last 4 days there.
  23. Oh it was good, really good.
