  1. I replaced those star nuts with square nuts, same time as i replaced size adjustment screw to torx one I tried to load pic but get "unknown server error"
  2. Funny thing that i feel get most of Contra by setting bindings 2cm front of insert middle portion, just like normal Coilers i have had. Might be due my riding style, but also Paula prefers same for her Contra. Odd.
  3. In reality that 784 is distance between mounting inserts, axle distance is less than that. But that 784 is quite close of distance between points where force is directed to board.
  4. On both above main force to board is place of axle. On AF version it is way of first insert and on 4x4 it is very close to first insert. Additional general notice is that all solid plates also bend with board, some more some less.
  5. Some turns from Ovindoli
  6. With normal size boots (27) blocking screws is not such biggie with Intec heel block but when you go smaller sizes more problems you got. This is due heel block is same regardless what is your boot size. On Paula's 24 size one screw is always totally blocked by heel piece.
  7. Best to order these: https://www.bomberonline.com/Fin-Tec-Heels_p_190.html I bought mine 2009 and never been happier.
  8. If you need them for Gecko plates then it is harder call. But if you plan make your own then you can have them without that small extra neck. Then you just need to drill only 6mm holes for plate, not 8mm like for original Gecko design. I have used flat ones with 6mm holes and also 10x25 Alu bars with 6mm holes to put them on board and M6 threads to tighten plates to bars. Both work fine. Bars are easier due there are no sharp edges when plates are removed and with proper design of hole/thread placement you get more stance adjustment. BTW i'm back in these small "plates" on one of my boards, rest have full plate. Just for fun

  20. 1 person and less than hour
  21. Or you can make small hole to pants and get cable hook out of that. Just what my wife did for her, i use same way as Corey
  22. My friend sold his almost unused Contra T174 due he decided stop snowboarding. Ok, so i took it due it was made also for my weight Today first test session, with F2 Titanium Intecs. Odd combo for me due i've been on plates last 10+ years almost totally. Anyway I must admit that this board felt awesome, very easy to ride, turns on dime when you give hint for that, and it turns tightly also on very slow speed, you must just keep it properly on edge. Next time will test it with Gecko type small plates, but must admit that rather ride it with long softer plate. Now i just must decide if i keep it or make it go due too many boards on my rack. If that would have Allflex inserts additionally as option, then certainly it would be keeper.
  23. Yep, when you film in 50Hz countries like Europe, you should select PAL that allows you select 50/100 etc frame rates, and if in 60Hz ones like US then select NTSC that allows you select 60/120 etc. Then you dont have any issues with artifical lights. If you shoot on sun only then it does not matter.
  24. You can use skate bushings too, just find correct height, and if not find take higher and cut to correct one. Use M6 screw and to bushing side put lock nut wrong way, that will keep busing in place. I used those on my plate setups too.
