  1. Yeah, I will go with farmers over noaa this year, and say some prayers that the storehouses of snow will be opened.
  2. I hope you are right. I'm up here in WA, and well, NOAAs forecast does not look so good.
  3. here is some info from NOAA Dec-Jan-Feb temperature Dec-Jan-Feb precipitation their next series looks even worse for the NW Jan-Feb-Mar precipitation more here http://www.cpc.ncep.noaa.gov/products/predictions/long_range/two_class.php

    Snow

Its that time again. Get your boards ready. Many of the NW resorts have their first snow. 5. I would suggest a Winterstick ST. Stiff flex, large radius, holds a edge on anything, and will plow through whatever you throw at it. They are built out of Wagner Custom factory so build quality is very high. I've ridden the 166 for 3 years and love it.
  6. My hjc sits fairly close to my face compared to the giro, and I have fallen on my face with out problems.
  7. I have the hjc ac-x3, great helmet fits my head, works with goggles, not too heavy, and warm enough. http://www.hjchelmets.com/ I would say fit is most important thing to look for.
  8. Winterstick is made by www.wagnerskis.com/ for 07-08 so quality should be top notch. I got the 166 ST from 04-05 and its a great ride. nice and stiff, damp, carves anything i can through at it.
  9. That’s a great idea. Kinda like the power strap on ski boots. I might have to rig something like that up.
  10. You should try a different shop and see if you can try to find a different brand that fits snugly. Each brand will have a different head shape, you just need to find the one that works for you. I like my hjc AC-x3, if full faced is the way you want to go, they also have open face motorcycle helmets you can try. One nice thing about motorcycle helmets is they tend to have less difference between sizes so it is easier to find a good fit.
  11. It's snowing in northern Seattle and mountain passes could get an foot of snow overnight. Mount baker is set to open 11/29 Thursday.
  12. looks good, would want it with a bigger sidecut.
  13. I use the HJC AC-X3 and it fits well. The face protector is close to the face and I have had no trouble with it catching. It has a endent along the back that keeps the goggle strap in place. The liner & ear flaps are removeable so I can wash them.

  15. donek 07/08 is up http://www.donek.com/index.htm "And we're working on more... A true-blue Soft Boot Carver has been on a lot of riders' wish lists for a while now and we're deep in development of the perfect board for everybody who yearns to rip up the groom in soft boots. More to come.." Something like the prior atv with the donek touch??? <!--[if !supportLineBreakNewLine]--> <!--[endif]-->
