I'm not sure what size they are, though I assume they are medium. Baseplates measure 9 inches long. Fit the above boots with room to spare. Comes with one lift and 4 cant plates and all associated hardware.

ultra prime is much softer than factory prime

I'm in phoenix, so theres a good chance theres not a dealer around here. I'm going to skipro tomorrow anyway so I'll check with them. I will most likely go with the thermoflex through bomber. Thanks for the input.

I guess all my questions scared people off... the one I really want to know is whether or not the new thermoflex liners have the neoprene toe box or are fully moldable.

Are the new thermoflex speeds fully moldable or do they have the neoprene toe box? Do you need the exrta sock on your toes, and stuff in between them with the neoprene toe box, seems like people are doing this regardless? Are the Intuitions or Scarpas fully moldable? Does it matter? It doesn't look like I can get intuitions in the U.S., or scarpa liners period. Are there any other/better options, from the ski boot world perhaps? In AZ we get a free telluride lift pass with only a few blackout dates among other stuff. Those in denver get a copper and winterpark with some fine print. Well worth 16 bucks even if the film sucks. I'm gonna bring everyone I know including non-snow sporters and rack in some lift tickets... I love telluride.

I ride last years rossignol RS "soft" boots, and they are the stiffest soft boots I have ever had the pleasure of flexing. They have a molded plastic/rubbery shell that is like a hard boot (except laces and all the other differences :) ). They must not have been popular b/c they only made them for 05/06, but if you can get your hands on some I would recommend them. They are what made me realize I would probably like hard boot carving.

The virus edition boot is a upz with a stiffer shell plastic. I doubt virus would know too much about the boot since they don't actually manufacture them. I would contact upz if anyone, although I am sure they wouldn't acknowledge it as a problem anyway. I have some UPZ boots on the way that already have the toe piece mod. When they come in I will describe how they are done and maybe snap some pics.

Is there any difference in liner quality or interior size between the thermoflex (is that the speed?) and the intuition? I could probably use the smaller of the two. Thanks.

Any verdict on this? (not the sucking, the sizing)

I'm going to Wolfcreek Thanksgiving weekend, they are supposed to have the best early season snow it the San Juans... Not carver friendly I think, more like a less advanced Silverton with more lifts. They claim the most snow in colorado and the prices are very reasonable. Kinda small though. Anyone been there and care to share? (three rhymes booyah) Edit- They do "fun races" so there must be some grooming.

I heard it is going to be an El Niño (or La Niña) season this winter... Good for us South westerners, bad for you North westerners, not sure about the ice coast.
