I'd like to ride my old race boards, but I seem to have misplaced my old UPZs along the way. Is anyone able to loan a pair of 29.5's or 30's for a poor soul like me? I'll be in summit county from Sat - Wednesday. If there is any place to rent them I am all ears.

I’m headed up to mammoth this weekend and while packing (moved twice last year) I seem to have pitched my boots. Any recommendation on where to grab a last minute pair of boots size 29.5?! Any alpine shops in LA or Mammoth?

I am looking to sell my Volkl 178 RT GS. Sad to say I only used this board about six times in its life. Pretty much mint condition. I am selling my old 173 Volkl RT GS. It has about 40 days as well. It is the black grip tape and red highlights model. I used it when I was in high school. Great board lots of life left. Would be great for a first time racer or someone looking for a nice all around carving board. Been sitting in a board sleeve for a long time with storage wax for too long. I am selling my Kessler 185 that I have used for about 40 days. It has always had a Vist plate mounted to it and has the optional vist plate inserts. I am the only owner and have treated well as it was my primary board for a season. It hasn't been ridden in almost four years and has sat in a storage bag :( with wax. I am about to relocate from Colorado Springs to AK and I am trying to empty out the quiver because they wont all fit in my car. There are a couple of dings from where the trench digger 3 toe clip hit the topsheet, but its only cosmetic. I am looking to get $600 for the board OBO. I have two vist plates for sale. One has been used for a season on my slalom board and the other has been used on my gs baord for a year + a couple of weekends. Both have stardard hardwear and the usual wear and tear, but still in great performance shape. The plate from my slalom board has a little bit of duct tape residue on the bottom from where tried out a little modification (giving a little more height between the board and the actual plate to help keep screws tight, nothing structurally modified). I am asking 300 or best offer.

just save the money and buy an sg or a kessler. its cleaner faster and if your gonna race, it will last

phills right, leave it to the current pros. why try and make a modern scientific piece of writing out of old, outdated expired. im sure the retired people have much experience, but i think phill is right. she should probably get in touch with justin rieter. he is coming of an injury and appears to have recovered quite well. that might be a subject worthy interviewing.

My friend, raceboarder7, is a racer. He also was a football star. Weighing in at 150 lbs., 6,1" he is tall and tiny. During his freshman year he was clipped and tore his miniscus... bad news. He is an amazing racer, i'll put money down that he'll be open class national champion next year in copper. When ever he has a somewhat hard crash, the knee swells to the size of a melon Which also results in either no riding for a week or riding like a pansy for a week, which doesn't help with racing. So just beware.

After removing the vist plate from my gs board this season, i noticed how much the plate rubbed on the metal. Is the solution to this wearing a slide pad as seen with the hangl plate? If so, where can you get these slide pads? Also, what exactly is "plate float"? If some one could explain that to me it would be great.
