Bonjour à tous, J'aimerais bien connaitre l'état des pistes du Mont Blanc, ces derniers jours. Si certains d'entre vous ont dévalé les pentes dernièrement, pourriez-vous m'informer sur les conditions de glisse. Merci !! ce serait grandement apprécié... avant de se taper deux heures de route. Est-ce qu'il y en a parmi vous, qui sont allés faire un tour au Mont Blanc, ces derniers temps. Si oui, est-il possible d'avoir vos commentaires sur la condition des pistes. Le centre semble avoir beaucoup de difficultés à ouvrir toutes leurs pistes cette année (même lorsqu'on avait tout plein de belle neige). Tout commentaires sur les conditions actuelles seraient grandement appréciés, car je ne demeure pas à proximité du centre. Merci. Marjo :)

Salut Ernie, Dis, j'suis curieuse de savoir pour quoi tu "ride en walk mode"... On m'avait mentionné que c'était bien de rider sur le "walk mode" au tout début, lorsqu'on apprend. Par contre, tu semble être un très bon rider et je me demandais pour quelle raison tu ride sur le walk mode, en tout temps... ? Marjo :)

If any of you have camcorder models which you highly recommend, and are not part of the models which I had originally submitted, please submit the models and your comments.... Ernie, Dis... Esct-que t'as fait un tour cette fin de semaine, à St-Sauveur.... Si oui... est -ce que la condition des pentes en valait la peine ? Need advice from carvers which use camcorders, on the slopes… I’m currently looking at buying a camcorder to be used mainly outdoors. It would be mostly used for snowboarding/carving and skiing events.<O:p</O:p I have been looking at different models, and I was told that the Panasonic camcorder would probably be the best option as it has an O.I.S. (Optical Image stabilizer) which the other models don’t have. <O:p Now my biggest dilemma is… should I take model which uses tge mini DVs or the compact DVDs or the one with an integrated Hard dive (30Gb). All 3 models are listed below. Alexeyga, Le Massif should still be opened following the "school march breaks"... I plan to be there at the end of march during weekdays... Hopefully, the conditions will be on our side... !! Marjo :)

I've seen a few carvers setup their bindings with a standard bail on their front foot and step-in setup on their back foot . I have always ridden a full standard setup or full step-in setup, but never on a mixed setup. I understand the concept behind it, but I am curious to find out your feedback and/or opinions on this type of setup. Thanks. Marjo ;)

Sinecure, 1/3 ... would be that the base edge angle is larger than 0 degrees and the side edge angle is smaller than 90 degrees (in your case 87 degrees). Marjo

When it comes to sharpening your board's edges, what is your base edge and side edge tuning ? I live on the east coast, so my edges are set to better handle icy conditions; Base edge angle is 0, side edge angle is at 88 degrees. What's the set up for your edges ? Marjo edges.zip
