    Quick Question

just my .02 without the WW, D-sub et al:eplus2: this would be a slightly boring place. a little ribbing is necessary to keep things light. as long as its not a really rotten flame. leave it alone boys will be boys:eplus2:
  5. I haven't ridden the #2 but I have ridden the 168 f2 speedcross and I loved it. I didn't find it twitchy at all but then the longer length may have made the difference.
  6. Dr D. We do have people using our boot for snowboarding. We would not be able to justify the cost of redesigning or making a boot for that purpose as we are small company. The tooling costs would be far greater than our annual sale revenue. Our boot has a lot of forward mobility, but is stiff laterally. Although with the forward flex set softer, there is some movement laterally at the top of the boot. Let me know if you have any further questions. Thanks, Adam -----Original Message----- From: Delaney Carlson DC [mailto:delaneycarlson@hotmail.com] Sent: Wednesday, April 11, 2007 9:53 PM To: daleboot@dalebootusa.com Subject: Hardboots for snowboarding I am a member of a group of alpine snowboarders that finds itself without a quality boot supplier. We are curious if you have ever done a set or if you have the capability of building such a boot. Current choices are limited to HEAD statos pros, UPZ and Deeluxe (formerly raichle). Choices for wider feet are especially limited. the boots would require some lateral flexibility and shorter sole length. what do you think? Dr D
  7. All of this footage is "offpiste" mostly in the glades and sweet spots on the mountain. I ride either an AM setup all day like fleaman suggests or I switch at lunch from powder to carving gear. IT works well because you can push it twice as hard and change out for a fresh pair of legs at lunch. by changing my setup from soft to hard or vice versa I get a fresh set of muscles. I get my powder and my groom too:biggthump PS:lurk: for all you icecoasters whining about late season snow after the mtn closes, we are in the same boat. Big MTN got 10 inches last nite and she's all closed up for the season. ITs almost worth the hike if you didn't have to dodge the sleepy Grizzly bears:lol:
  8. season highlights real from the ski patrol viewpoint http://www.bigmtn.com/mod/media/0607kyle.php enjoy
  9. hey dave did you end up with any video of my "moses" impersonation?
  10. John is hands down the man:biggthump :biggthump way to sack up John I can't imagine the pain of falling on that again. hell of a season we had!!! you all come back and see us next year:biggthump
  11. I did not imply it was on purpose:eek: I am just saying sponge bob was wearing a little thin around the edges is all:lol:

  15. So It appears that I truly suck at pondskimming:lol:   next year will be different;) I am going long and skinny next year. I think you need a tail 3 feet long to absorb the 3 foot drop to the pool and the nasty little kicker at the end of it. I think the 195 will be included in my next attempt at greatness:biggthump What a hoot though and damn that water was cold. All the fake boobies in the contest lost three cup sizes on contact with the water. come to think of it I lost a "cup size" or two myself:lol: Dave should have won some kind of award for sacking up enough to wear the spongebob spandex they were truly worth a look. but only one since there was a liiiitlle to much crack showin for a family oriented event:lol:
  16. that's the biggest version I have but I will look around. I don't remember f I took it on my phone or if one of the bomber guys took it when they were here.
  17. Can't say enough about the fog The mere mention of it scares away the riff raff:eplus2: On the upside it is possible to get stuck here for a week as the airport is often fogged in. Terrible problem to have to board the sunshine above the clouds while the boss fumes at home and nuthin to be done about it til the fog lifts:biggthump pic 1 single days new snow standing four inches deeper than my 24 cm board is wide. pic 2 Paulk resetting his gyro compass pic 3 the airport as viewed from bigmtn:eplus2:

  20. Now I know you cant be telling the truth. People are still renting ? I say not..The cams tell the story no one on the hill. I need A new life or A new location or both Move up here everyone else is:lol:
  21. :1luvu: I spent my college years rebuilding and fixing up BMW's 1980 -1995 I would have to say they are the best used car for the money. The snob factor is apparently key here since they buy a new one every year the resale values are low:biggthump  The newer design awd's are great I would stay away from the 80's ix 4wd models as they had maintainance issues. They were not so much lemons as just maintainance intensive. over all the cars will go 350k no problem consider that the benchmark as compared to the "standard" 100k in american cars. AS they age the little things will fart on you like light bulbs in the onboard computer and annoying stuff like that but they will run forever. Best part is that for 15k you can drive something that drives like the 45k it was new:biggthump Go a little older and the same is true it will just cost you 4-5k
