  1. Hey guys, the board and the bindings are sold ! Just an update, just had an potential buyer confirm what I thought before, these boots say Mondo 30 USA 12 ...BUT I FEEL and also the potential buyer felt they are more like USA 11...not sure what that goes with in Mondo. But either way, boots are still available - Eagle, if your still interested let me know, though as I said above, I think its fair to call these USA 11's. Thanks Guys, -Donald
  2. Thanks for the quick reply Greg! just an update guys, BOTH board and boots are currently pending. Will update tomorrow evening with the status of everything. Thanks , -Donald

  4. Hey Greg, Didn't get a chance to get ship quote today due to a work call in, I'll get that for you tomorrow. Derek53, I will also get a rough ship cost tomorrow so I can give you a price, as I really am guessing the shipping as is. Would you mind providing your zip . -Thank guys -Donald
  5. Greg- I will stop by UPS on Monday to get a shipping estimate to your location, since I'm not sure a better way to go about it. and Derek53, sadly, I don't think I can sell them at this point that cheap, as shipping and packaging will most likely cost me at least 25-30 Thank you for the offer though. -Donald
  6. Hey Greg, I would say that the board is a 7/10. Honestly, there's nothing wrong with it. A few cosmetic scratches on the top of the board, and typical wear on the base, NO base hits or anything even close to it. The edges are in great shape no damage there either. I also always kept a solid coat of wax on it so I am sure that helped. Overall I think its in good shape :) As of how it rode, I literally have nothing to compare it to. This was my first and only alpine board. Ive been riding 12+ years softboots, and thought Id ride this rig more but it seemed to never happen hence why I decided to sell. Sorry I can't be more help to you there, maybe someone else can chime in for ya. At this point, I am willing to sell the board for $85 + SHIPPING, I have no idea how much shipping will be, however I can find out for you if you are interested. Also, just an FYI for everyone else, bindings have been sold and shipped, boots and board are still available. Thanks Guys, -Donald
  7. Bindings Pending to BC1 and email sent. Red Man,the boots are size 30 Mondo. I normally where a US size 12, however these feel more like an 11.5 to my feet. However they are indeed 30 Mondo's. If you have anymore questions let me know. Cheers, -Donald
  8. Hey guys, Long story short, I don't post here often ( ok 18 posts since 2005 so I post never :( ) Anyways its time to sell my alpine set up which I have ridden DOWN THE MOUNTAIN, maybe 20-25 times. Some of those being 500 vert in SC. If you look at my post history, you can find questions I had about the bindings and I believe the thread that I bought the board from originally, but its been so long ago I can only assume this is where I bought it from. Now for the fun part, I need these gone ASAP, so all offers are OBO, I'm not 100% where to price this stuff at, so I am totally making up prices and seeing what happens. Burton Factory Prime, 167, Specs in pics, No base hits, always rode with wax etc. $100 OBO + Shipping from DENVER CO Burton Race Plates, year I have no idea, come with what you see in the pics only. 3 hole plates, the blue paddy thing ( yes Im a noob) , and the back foot riser plate. $100 OBO + Shipping from DENVER CO Lastly Raichle 123's, size 12 USA...good condition, $50 OBO + Shipping I am flexable on the prices a bit, since I am taking a stab in the dark with them anyways. I would be HAPPY to sell these local if possible, I live in Denver CO, but will travel to Vail, Breck/ Keystone this week if someone wants to purchase. Going riding up there anyways :) I just changed my email to update, so hopefully it did. If not it is djjdon @ live dot com . Also feel free to hit me up on http://www.facebook.com/djjdon which will most likely be the fastest way to contact. Lastly, since no one here really knows me if you have ANY concerns about buying, since Im not a active member contact me with concerns and we will work something out. Will also sell any package deal cheaper, so feel free to ask. Picture time ! Thanks for looking guys, hit me up with any questions !!
  9. Damn I wish I had someone to ride with last year I was also from Latham, now I'm stuck in South Carolina:(
  10. I'll try and get down there if I can get off of work. Its going to be my 4th time ever on a alpineboard though so I'll get left going down the hill but thats ok.:( If I go I'll be bringing the cam to get some footage.
  11. Good Deal ! If I didn't buy mine a few months ago for lots more I would have picked this up:) Good Luck with the sale!
  12. I agree with D-Sub 110%, even the music part:biggthump So far I hear mostly postive comments, but usually I hear a few kids saying" thats the......Thing ever" I don't even bother trying to say anything back. I stated snowboarding 9 years ago because it looked fun. Now I realize that I alpine beacuse it brings the fun back into the sport that I have been so stressed out about trying to land my 270 nose press 270 outs of the past. To each his own, but everytime I take a run I have a huge smile the whole way down, I never smiled in the park
  13. Thanks for the help guys! I was going to buy some extra bails but I was planing on buying some TD2's next season I just bought the plates to learn on more or less. I would just keep them but I allways here they tend to break and aren't safe so that has me worried. Is there anything to look for in terms of wear and tear, these guys have been used about 10 times total so I am sure they have at least another 20 days before I need to worry?
  14. haha thanks, yea well this will be my second day on an alpine setup and the only thing that is holding me back is my fear of bindings failing:smashfrea
  15. Here is a picture I hope, but its one of the plastic notchs on both sides of the toe piece. Its like one side got pushed in and the other side is where it should be. This is really hard to explain hopefully the picture will help.
  16. Just have a quick question, bascily part of my toe piece the plastic part seems to be pushed in some. I can't tell if it is going to be an safety issue or not.Anyone have any ideas, I am riding tommorw and am kinda worried.
  17. What angles are you running? Yesterday was my first day on an alpine board after softbooting for 8 years. The trick I found is you have to learn to trust the board that was my biggest issue. Also picture what you want to do in your head, and tell yourself that you still snowboarding and its not that different.Well that seemed to work for me, even though I didn't ride anything other then greens:p
  18. Well after a month or more of waiting I finally got to my alpine gear.First a little back ground, I've been riding for about 8 years now and slowly got tired of freestyle. My weapon of choice is a FP 167,Burton race plates and some 123's. Now I am used to riding my old stance of 20,-15 and a wide Burton board so I was a bit worried about my first day out. To make a long story short after only a few turns(not carves, skided truns) I felt comfortable. By the last run of the day I felt like I was actully getting somewhere. Now heres the issues I have with it so far, first off I haven't learned to trust my bindings I feel like I am gonna just break them and kill myself. This may be due to the fact at the end of the day I realized that I could set my toe piece back one notch and it would fit tighter DOH:smashfrea .Anyways all and all I am happy that it wasn't to hard to get the basics down. Now my question on my Burton plates on the toe piece there is a section of plastic that looks like it got pushed in, this i in turn freaking me out the whole time I ride. Is this a safety issue? Its hard to explain so maybe this picture will help..
  19. Burton A seris 155 Burton Canyon 157 Burton Canyon 163 Burton FP 167 I have a long way to catch you guys:rolleyes: Also as you can see I hate Burton
  20. Also been there once years ago, from what I remember all the runs off of the main express lift from the base where good for carving. This was back when I was into freestyle so there names escape me but I remember having a blast riding around on these trails on my softboard.I would reconmend getting there early esp on weekends as it gets very crowed and you'd be running people gates by 11.Post a report when you get back beacuse I have been dying to try my alpine set up there and I have a free ticket from the Waren Miller movie so I might have to do just that.Enjoy the Ride
  21. Thanks guys, I'll just try it in all the postions and see what I feel is best. Right now the wedge in the back seems to be the most comfortable but I'll see when I get out there. Thanks for the info on the sizes, I figured that the smaller ones were for the wedge just wanted to make sure. Wish me luck, I'm trying this bad boy out hopefully later this week.
  22. Well I finally got bindings for my board so I have a few questions on the set up.I have the fairly new race plates with the 5.5 degree rear ramp which that info I found on another site.First question do you guys think its an good idea to start off with the ramp, I've never ridden an alpine board but have been softbooting for the last 8 years.Second the bindings came with shorter screws and the longer ones for the plates, I assume the shorter ones are used for the ramp? Also last question the way it looked to me I can screw the ramp down in 4 places is that the normal amount?Sorry for sounding like such a newbie but this alpine stuff is confussing at first. Thanks guys
  23. Earths would actully be just what I am looking for, there the only hard boots I've ever used and I grew fond of them. Let me know when you'd like to sell, I'll defintally pick them up from you if your selling them soon.
