7. hey philw Where did you get the replacement parts when they broke? and which parts actually broke on the boots? Thanks , ~ Mike
8. --- maybe all this sport needs to gain some popularity is one really great product (ie Bombers) to create some buzz in the snowboarding industry. Excellent work Bomber ! ~ Mike
9. I think your inner ear is responsible for your balance, etc .. but helmets, earphones etc .. shouldn’t effect it ... my advice is to definitely get a helmet ! :) ~ Mike
10. Google Toolbar or Avant are the best pop-up blockers for IE, otherwise use Firebird... All of these work great ! It seems like most of the carvitup site isn't working just yet? -I'll check back in a week or so... (i like "ebay search" page.... what a time saver :) ) ~ Mike
11. I measure a 29.3, and I tried downsizing in some Deeluxe Indy 29’s, and I couldn’t get them to work with either the standard or ThermoFlex liners (my feet are pretty w i d e) I did just receive some LeMans in a 29.5, and they seem to fit perfectly. While I haven’t actually ridden in them yet, they are snug in all the right places, and even seem to fit a little wider than the Indy’s as well. Hopefully my feet wont be sleeping as much this season ... :) (*BTW, the LeMans are really great boots…) I would go with Mark’s recommendation, and buy both pairs to be sure .. or you ‘could’ get the 28.5 from another source. (*sorry*) ~ Mike
12. I have a pair of Deeluxe Indy (salt lake city edition) boots for sale. (U.S 11/Mondo 29) You can check them out here ~ Mike
13. Awesome dude ! Thanks for the update ... I fiddled with the bindings earlier, and flipping the toe block gave us a lot more adjustability. I was a little worried because the front of the boot is just barely resting on the toe block. ~But it looks like there should be plenty of surface area for a good solid connection. Once we find the correct angles, we'll probably flip the toe block back to it's normal position.... but this will make it a lot easier for fine tuning... Thanks again (Billy & Fin) :D ~ Mike
14. My girlfriend is using the very smallest setting for her 23.5's on the TD2's. For the first few days of riding, it will probably be a pain fine tuning her bindings angles ... (but, it could be worse) Do you think there would be any safety issues caused by reversing the Toe Block? That could be a really nice option for my girlfriend too. Thanks ! ~ Mike
15. Hey gang !, I am trying to get back into snowboarding shape for the upcoming season .. and I was wondering if there are any good snowboarding or carving specific exercises that you all use? (without having to join a gym …) Right now, I’m using a balance board, which seems to help for balance and strength … is there anything else that has worked for you guys in the past ? Thanks, ~ Mike
16. well, this convinced me ... I just bought two pairs ! (cant wait) ~ Mike
17. i'm absolutely speechless !!! that rox ! ~ Mike
18. So , can the TD2’s really open beer bottles? ~ or am I just gullible? :) ~ Mike
