I've never been to Hunter Mountain, but after reading some of the comments in past threads, it seems to be filled with tour buses of weekend warrior jean skiers with bota bags of Fireball (ok, I might have embellished a bit there). Would it be a mistake to join these races? Or will the impact of these factors be minimal as I will be focused on inspection and race runs?
