big mario
Thinking drop deck, wondering what direction for trucks Thanks, Mario
Neil Gendzwill
Why would you want drop deck for ldp? I’m using a Cinnett front, Tracker rear. It works well for cheap , but then I haven’t tried any of the fancier rigs.
big mario
I'd like to be a little closer to the ground for foot braking. My landyactz pintail seems soooo tall, and somewhat precarious at times
slopestar
Bennett 5.0 up front and tracker rts rear drop deck with slanted nose.
ThePeonsChamp
I have the dont trip poppies on my gbomb and I absolutely love them. They are a much pricier option as opposed to the Bennett or trackers. I have over 500 miles on them and they're still great. I also highly reccomend grabbing a gbomb setup too if you have the cash.
BlueB
Bennett front, Saismic stable rear. Wedge/dewedge to taste. Wroom, wroooom!
crote123
What @BlueB said or swap the Bennett for a DT Bhanger. Didn't like the poppies. The front was too "binary", not as smooth side to side as a Bennett or Bhanger.

Love the slant nose. almost perfect angle up front for LDP
DjulezD
Plus 1 on the Bennett/Tracker combo. Wedging/dewedging is actually beneficial but makes the board sit higher from the ground. Don't overdo it. If you go the Bennett route on a pintail shape board, you may consider buying two different sizes (5 and 6) to have a more versatile setup. The board side bushing on my Bennett 5.0 up front is actually 2 conical bushings of medium and soft Khiro's melted together in an hourglass shape. blue and orange... Nice rebound...
slopestar
And my roadside is also conical Khiro blue. The tracker Rts comes with an hourglass board side bushing and with the oversized Bennett spacing for the bushing... I got creative
b.free
I have Riptide WFB 73A cones up front in my Skennet and Riptide APS 90/95a barrels on my back Skandal. Great setup for pumping.
BlueB
In my Bennett, I really like hourglass Holey, now discontinued Smoke color, that was softer than their current 78A. Also, while ago I stockpiled on a failed batch of Landyachtz orange cones, that were way too soft for anything but slalom or pumping front trucks. Those things are crazy in hourglass formation, with each other or another cone of desired duro. Most of my Bennetts I've upgraded with spherical bearing on the king pin. I also have one with a ball pivot.
