bumpyride
We had about 1 foot overnight, with 4" the day before, over a pretty good base. Knee to thigh deep in newly opened glade. Excellent boarding on the un-groomed runs. The problem: Only Swift Current open from the base area, (explorer doesn't count), and Powder Seeker closed for most of the day because of un-exploded ordinance. Challenger was open, wind blown and really poor visibility. High winds till early afternoon, and a chilled ride up Swifty. Resort is going to suck till the new "Chubby Ram-Charger 8" opens. Shedhorn, which is home to the old Ram-Charger lift is not open or expected to be open for a long time, reportedly it will re-start the operations when Ram-Charger is completed. My recommendation would be to skip it till they get the lifts running. Hopefully soon.
