Corey Posted January 15, 2019 Report Share Posted January 15, 2019 The engineer in me doesn't like the bent threaded rod. Why not put that angle change in the machined part right below it? I assume it's fine in practice given the relatively light loading, but it still looks funny to me. Looking at my mistake -- I got 2 pair of UPZ, 2 pairs of Deeluxe, 1 pair of head. Given how much i spent on boots: a pair of Mt. Slope probably make sense. But I am done throwing $ at the problem for now. We didn't hit 10 orders but MCC order make lots of sense to me. Looking to close this. Please PM me if you are interested so we can figured out what to do. I know the carvers want their gears now Patience isn't in our lexicon. In hindsight I may have leaned toward the compact version as I like the way it tucks neatly into the space provided on the UPZ I keep reading the comment about being careful walking down stairs. Is this really an issue? Are there piles of dead alpine riders at the bottom of stairs that didn't make it? Perhaps lay off the schnapps a little? It happened to some carver careless to go down the stairs and bend the threaded bar (perhaps for the schnapps or whiskey).
