Finally I had it in the real pow! And it absolutely rocked! The thing is simply unstoppable, very fast and it comes to the surface even when you ride the front foot. I even head the bindings 10mm ahead of the centre, just because, and never needed to ride the back foot (unless I wanted to).

No action pics, just a big, ride induced smile:

Now, I need to search for some bottomless stuff... 🙂

should have come to montucky

I had both M and S on snow today. We had really nice groomers, pretty bad moguls and some crud from Friday's dump.

A perfect edge change:

I had the OES AM down the groomed, but also at high speed through the crud on the side. It handled beautifully!

I did a small mod on the S: I shaved off about 50% of the edge at the transition from sidecut to the nose. It made it smoother, both visually and the ride. I might take a pic later...

@west carven, I'm replying here, so we don't derail the K168 thread...

The AM167 is listed on OES site, at the original specs. I don't know how many has Alexey produced. He also offers another version, that is a bit wider but has MUCH longer radius, I think 14m or so.

I liked the original a lot in pow and for carving, less in moguls and technical freeride... I feel that I have overdone the taper, the nose can be too hooky when not ridden centered.

I have not ridden the version II...
