Jon Dahl
Been a while since I've been on here. I have moved off the coast and I am 8 miles to the Canadian border up in the NCW. Anyone ride at Mt. Baldy, or Big White? Got reccomendations? I talked with a local skier who has given me some info on both places, but any other rec's appreciated. Anything inside the 2-2.5 hr window drive time is ideal, that's my drive time to Stevens Pass.
BlueB
I'm at Silver Star right now. It has fantastic freeride terrain but some flattish traversing needs to be done. We just had 2 unbelievable pow mornings! Sin Peaks is super nice too. Very good carving runs, very little traversing. Big White I can't comment. Apparently big dumps too but vis can be scatchy. OhD
REVELSTOKE looks fabulous. Skied today, carving tomorrow if weather holds and weekend crowd dissipates.Thousands of feet of steep, excellent groomers!

ABRider
I second the Apex recommendation. I just got back from 3 days there, and it was EPIC. Super steep, with 20 cms fresh the last day. Luckily I was with a guy who rides there all the time, on that hill a little local knowledge goes a long way. Though it might be smaller than some of the other hills around, it more than makes up for it in terrain and atmosphere.
