N.E.S 2017 ?

Hey Guys, I've been snowboarding for 20+ years but just relatively new to hardbooting and really like it, but need to ride with others who I can watch and learn from.  I was at Nakiska yesterday and met shortly with a guy and he mentioned this forum. He also mentioned the NES this weekend. I am interested in coming out.  I am in Calgary in the NW.  I picked up a Prior 173 board and Quattro Bindings with Raichle AF600 boots a few years ago on Kijiji and it seems to work ok, but I am sure there is wisdom to be shared with me.  it seems like some guys here are eager to share and get more riders into the sport.  I have no idea how old this gear is, but it has been a great intro to the sport, and I am having a lot of fun.  Finally I have a way to appreciate the groomers!

Hey Kevin, I'll be around for the rest of the winter at Nakiska, but I'm away this weekend. I'm planning on being out there again on Jan 21, and then as much as I can in Feb. If you need pointers I'm happy to spend some time with you ... I'll post up here and let you know when I'm heading out.

I'll be there saturday am.  I was there sunday too...snow wasn't that bad.  The usual high spots get sketchy (i.e. the 'drop' on mighty peace) but the main runs were good.  Only hit gold once, but the snow was good up there too.

They didn't get that warm this week, did they?  In any case, I can give an update.

The thing that makes me sad is losing all the snow in fish creek and WBC.  I wanna ride my fattie!!!
