slopestar Posted December 15, 2018 Report Share Posted December 15, 2018 (edited) So we had some fun runs until 12 year old EMSC racer kid thought he could pass me on my Blind side.i had waited for a gap, looked up hill between turns yet he still managed to hit me from behind. Gravity and inertia are a bitch and although he hit me, I remained upright. He rung his Bell and shed a few tears. I waited with him and for patrol to fill out information and to make sure he was alright. His ski coach didn't appreciate what I had to say about racer blinders and the fact that all racers wear them. It was nice of patrol to explain to her the rules of the skiers responsibility code. As I was about to explain it to her in greater detail... A couple ptex fills and two newly educated ski racers later. Trenches were made and lessons were learned.
