  1. Hey, I'm trying to get myself up with a hardboot set up. I was gifted a Pogo Shaman, and just bought some used UPZ10's off ebay (oops). I was curious if anybody had some bindings they think would work well for me. I took the 185 out with a softboot set up and was horribly humbled by a sloppy powder day. I understand that i will be humbled again by this learning process, but was curious if you all had any suggestions/equipment that you think would help me on my path. Thanks!

  3. Selling my 2015 F2 Speedster World Cup RS 175cm. This board was used for only one season. The top sheet and bottom have no scratches or skuff marks. The top sheet was a bot of wear where the bindings were installed. Its an 8 of 10 for condition.. its almost new. I am letting it go for $400. Hope this board finds a great boarder that has carving and racing in mind. This board had a great feel.. It was just a bit too much for me. Text me if you are interested at 514 235 3955. Cheers Mike
  4. I have the following for sale, itemized. Happy to to entertain questions about the gear listed for sale with those interested in purchasing. Buyer pays shipping. Apex T1 Plate: $350 SOLD! Great, super low profile plate. In my opinion, one of the best plates Apex has ever made using the slider-hinge system. Super smooth slider action, and a plate that allows some ability to "peddle". Plate is in great shape. Comes with all hardware (UPM only, although APEX sells a 4x4 adapter, I believe). JJA "Soft" Plate: $100 (Plate only) SOLD! This is the softest plate I have ever ridden. It is a composite build, no carbon. Great for: a) anyone looking to cush up their ride and maintain slow-speed turn-ability, b) a light weight recreational racer adult, or c) a great plate for a developing racer who has little to no experience on a plate. I rode it on the JJA SL board I previously sold here, and the stiff, snappy board combined with the soft flex plate was a magic combination (for me and others who demoed it). NEAR NEW F2 Titanium Size Large, Two Pair with extra heel / toe wedges and canting wedges: $220 / each SOLD! Ridden once. I since downsized my boots so need F2 mediums, hence these for sale. Comes with extra heel lift and toe lift blocks, and canting wedges. All hardware included. Trench Digger Canting Disks and pads, Plate Version: $100/ set (set = two canting disks, two pads, two low profile center disks and hardware). I have two sets to sell. SOLD! I have: 1 zero degree SOLD! 2 three degree 1 REMAINING 2 six degree. BOTH SOLD! Bomber Power Plates: $215 for complete setup; $115 for the "power plates" only SOLD! Comes with: 2 three degree cant disks, purple lower pads, two power plates, and all associated hardware. Should you want only the "power plates" themselves, price is above. I only have one set of base plates and full size cant disks left, so those can either go to the power plates, or the sidewinders below. Trench Digger Sidewinders with extra e-pads: $325 for complete setup, $225 for uppers only (and extra e-pads) UPPERS SOLD! Trench Digger Sidewinders. I will assemble (currently taken apart for pictures). This would include center disks, two 3 degree cants, purple lower pads, and sidewinder uppers AND extra e-pads (one blue, one yellow). only have one set of base plates and full size cant disks left, so those can either go to the sidewinders or power plates. JJA 185 GS board with medium carbon fiber Isolation Plate, with mounts: $1,000 PRICE UPDATE: $600 A rocket ship. WC specs. This was my trainer. Base is in great condition with a new structure, but two caveats: there is a bit of base dimpling in the front (slight popping of the base, pictures) and a slide amount of base suck in the rear (pictured). Does not affect ride whatsoever. Edges are a 9/10. Width is 19.5cm. Built for a weight range around 185ibs. Note: this has the "JPM" plate mounts, which I believe are 1mm further towards edge than UPM. Great when paired with a JJA plate (best in the business)... which it is! Plate is medium flex, and the pairing is a wonderful, very fast ride. Can obviously be ridden plate free, where the boards becomes more playful and slightly less a rocket ship. I can send additional pictures of this item as required (does not come with bindings). This board normally goes for around $1,000+, and the plate with hardware normally sells for around $1,200+. So this is priced very reasonably, in my opinion. Well, I think that is it!

  6. Now there's no "Bomber" whom we rightly had to respect, I think I can ask this question.... There are multiple variants of the standard F2 binding out there, but has anyone any reviews/ experience/ comparative information on them? I like to avoid riding stuff which is more than a decade old, so I ought to buy some more bindings and I'm wondering which will work best. The ones I know of are: Standard F2 Titanium bindings, same as I've used for the last 20 years and which work flawlessly for me. They come in two sizes of which I use the smaller. You can get blue anodized ones thi season, it seems, as well as the standard black. The CNC version of the above. These are pretty and maybe I should get some to put on my bookshelves, but they're not commonly used in races I think so perhaps they have "stiffness" problems as per some other machined bindings. They're likely heavier and more expensive than (1). The Virus "Power Lock" stuff... they look similar in principle to the F2, but apparently are "machined from a solid block" of whatever so perhaps are stiffer? I'm not really looking for that, and I'm kind of suspicious of Virus as they make those extremely narrow boards which isn't my thing. These come with a baseplate - is that mandatory? How high does that put the boot over the board? I kind of like simple and low, hence F2 Ti Race not F2 Titanflex. Kessler's F2 variant. These have white handles and no step-in variant, but otherwise look like stock F2 bindings. Is that what they are? These come in 3 sizes, suggesting they're not just a re-brand of the F2s. Are there any more, perhaps South-East Asian variants I should look at? I'm just interested in any actual users of these and similar bindings... what are the main characteristics and what do I need to know which isn't obvious?....
  7. 2005-06 F2 Speedster RS 183cm board with F2 bindings. Originally purchased from YYZCANUCK as one of Dave's (the owner's) personal boards. Inserts had been drilled by a professional shop for Hangl plates when Dave owned it, but I only ever used the F2 bindings. Waist width is 196mm. Sidecut radius is 16m. This board and bindings are in great shape. Board was recently tuned by local shop and has been unused since then. Asking CAD $200 or best offer.

  11. Semi-hammerhead (14-15 model) makes this one more versatile than hammerhead models. Liked it a lot for its liveness than WC model.   13. Hello everyone...hope all are well. Wanted to throw a few questions out there to get my current setup, or lack thereof, moving forward. After trying out some Sidewinders, a came to realize I really like toe lift and heel lift without much cant fore or aft. After reading many of the threads on here about such topics, and after re-reading Beckman's article on Binding Setup, (fantastic by the way!) I came to realize I've been woefully short of a good setup for many years. All my years of riding plates/hb's, I've always used the Burton 7* unicant wedge under rear, flat up front, and did not realize how painful/unbalanced I was until I brought the front toe up a few degrees. My current interest is either a set of Sidewinders or F2's, where I can play with toe and heel lift as needed, making sure I don't get into something too stiff...tried Fin's TD1 years ago, both stepin and standard, and it was way to much for my riding. I had purchased a set of Sidewinders a few years back, liked the softness and comfort of them, but did not get much time on the snow during that time, and foolishly sold them on here. Tried like hell to buy a new pair of boots and another pair of SW's last year, but it was just too damn difficult/time consuming to get anyone at Bomber to take my money. So, my current thoughts moving forward is either a set of F2's of some sort, or another set of SW's. I do like simplicity, which my old/current set of Burton/Ibex offer. Here are my questions about this, and I appreciate the time and information in advance. I've never had/seen/setup F2's. I'm interested in their supposed simplistic design (similar to my Burton/Ibex), and very interested in what I hear is pretty easy to do regarding toe and heel lifting, if that is truly the case. I'm not at all interested in fabricating to make things work, as I just don't have the tools, etc., so I'm hoping all is easy to do out the box. 1. F2 Ti Race: Compared to my Burtons, are these much stiffer, or more rigid? How about compared to SW's.? 2. F2 Ti Race: What comes in the box regarding shims? How readily can I add a few degrees of toe lift and maybe 3-4 degrees under heel...with, or without cant? 3. F2 Intec Titanflex: I'm interested in these from a convenience and potentially a softer setup, but concerned about being to twitchy/stiff...as I found out from my TD1 Stepins many years ago. Given the build on these, I see they may be, in theory, a little softness built into these compared to others, but for those that have played around with these, are they close to the SW's in give/play, or is there a noticeable difference in being a more stiff/unforgiving interface? 4. F2 Intec Titanflex: The descriptions of these would seem to indicate more customizations to lift/cant, etc. than the F2 Ti Race...Would this be true? 5: F2: Binding setup regarding lift/cant, etc.: Can anyone point me to a video, or series of pictures, that would illustrate what these offer and how to go about setting these up? This would be huge to get a visual on my end. Haven't had much luck in my searches finding such. 6: TD3 SW's: If I decide, based on opinions/information expressed here regarding the F2's, to go this route again, there is definitely a large price difference...and I'd be foolish not to bring this into consideration. I'm assuming I'll be able to purchase these at some point in time. I have read a little about the possibility of Fin/Michelle taking back over their creation, and I hope this is true. It's unfortunate what seemed to have happened, but would explain my troubles in trying to place orders last year. FYI on me...I'm not as aggressive as I used to be, and ride small mountains here in VA and WV. My current board is an old Volkl Spline 164 and usually rid mellow angles, 45-50 forward, 35-40 aft, and this is mainly due to riding a 91 Burton M6 with fixed 45 - 35 Vari-plates and Nordica SBH for ever. I'm about 230lbs. I know...bunch of questions, but I just can't get my hands on any of this stuff where I am, and am trying to limit any surprises up front. All the best... Randy

  16. Selling my F2 Silberpfeil. It's a 172 all round carver that's in good condition. Recommended rider weight is "over 60kg" (130lbs) It's an "older" board but it rides like new. I got it from one of the guys on the forum (Thanks Glen) and now it's time to pass it on. Only $150 plus shipping.   17. loin d'avoir des flocons par chez nous, DHL s'est pointé chez moi en début de semaine: Des F2 Race CNC (le deal était top bon). Puis JJA est en train de me bâtir une nouvelle planche (Cypress 169 custom juste un peu plus molle) pour remplacer celle que j'ai scrapper l'an dernier. D'ailleurs j'ai visité Jasey cet été quand je suis passé à Tremblant. J'ai fait le tour de l'atelier en plus d'avoir un cours de fabrication de planches en accéléré! J'ai manipulé ses propres planches. Je trouvais ça stiff...
