  2. Anyone want a great wool sweater for snowboarding? It's basically new and in perfect condition--Worn a few times, but inside. Doubles as ugly Christmas sweater or a slush day jacket. It's wool @ 100%. Burton boiled wool sweaters are used for layering for AK trips. It's super warm. Can be worn as a layer or, at times, instead of a jacket. The colors are great. Size M. I'm 5'7. I had to roll the sleeves. The waist is a little too long. It's a little too big just for daily wear. The length is more suited to someone who's about 5'10. Asking $60 plus shipping. Thanks.

  4. Original 1990 Burton Kelly Mystery Air from 1990 for sale. Board has been used between 1990-2000 but stored indoors from 2000-today. Board shows some wear, but no big scratches, looking good considering its age. The aluminum (?) tip protection is showing some wear and needs a little TLC to reach peak condition. Unkown/unoriginal binders. Can be removed before shipping if wanted. More photos on request. Board is on eBay, but will donate the same % to this site that eBay requests, if buyer wants to make the sale here. Find the item on eBay. Price is negotiable. Shipping from Norway to US is roughly 60$, other countries on request.

  14. Hello there! Let me introduce myself shortly: I'm Tim, mid twenties, Dutch, one-week-a-year freerider. As a job I work with bicycles and for a hobby I like working on cars. Classic Volvo's to be precise. When boarding I like speed. A lot of guys like kickers and parks, but I like cruising or high speed long turns. Sounds like carving. I've always liked the look of hardbooters. Now, a couple of days ago I was a second-hand shop and I found a board. I bought it because it appeared to be my size. With it, I got some question marks. First: the bindings. They are burtons but the only thing I could find was the brand. I have no clue what type. Do they need 'special' shoes from the same era as the bindings or do modern hardboots fit? Could ski-boots fit? Then the board: Its from 1998, that's how much I know. Is this a known board? Underneath the rear binding was a plate which was canted. I haven't seen this earlier. Could someone explain to me why? As you might notice I would really like to learn more. I would also like to get out and ride this pretty piece of vintage! Kind regards, Tim.

  24. Hello everyone! I was hoping for a more positive first post, but here it goes... I had a '94 Burton PJ 6.0 sitting in the basement in Garmisch collecting rust and dust (but otherwise in great shape). I brought the board to Calgary at the end of July, and left it with a reputable tech for a full tune-up. Long story short, the stone grind didn't go so well and they took down the entire base/edge in one spot, right at the front of the board. I'm trying to work out some sort of resolution with the tech. Is it repairable? Still rideable? Totally dead? Any thoughts or suggestions would be much appreciated. Prunes (Will)
