  1. Hello! I jut came back from a week snowboarding holidays. Problem solved! I have listened to Jim's advice and bought Palau liners.we had to mould them twice in 250 degrees, with some padding in hot spots but it works! I no longer feel pain. To be honest, putting different liners already made a difference even without moulding. According to guy who mould it for me, in extreme situations the part on the shell that cause problem, can be scraped a bit. Thanks again!!
  2. Very helpful! I have ordered new liners so I will need them. Thanks!
  3. Thank you all! There is hope after all!;) the boot fitter was a clown indeed, I couldn't believe there is nothing I can do. Jim, I'm in London, so few hours ahead. Could you email me on Milica.bielska@gmail.com and let me know when I can call you. Thanks again!
  4. Hi, sorry for lack of details. I was at boot fitter today and he basically said: * shell cannot be modified because the place that cause the problem, makes it impossible * liner is very thick (it is) but moulding it won't help because it's the shell that is the problem New, fitted insoles didn't help. I struggle to believe that. Here are some pics (sorry, not very professional, ha ha) Basically you can see on the picture of the liner that there are bumps on both sides around the heel area. This is what puts the pressure. The boot size is correct. I checked it with to different boot fitters.
  5. Hi! Unfortunately I'm not really an expert in technical things, but since few years I'm riding on alpine snowboard. I used to have very dated upz boots but I finally decided to spend some cash and I bought Deeluxe Track 700. I went to ride in them last year and it was horrible experience. The pain was incredible. I checked online and it looks like other people were complaining too. I need an advice. The problem is around heels. There are some pressure points, it feels tight and at some point I'm feeling horrible pain, pins and needles to the point of tears. It feels like I'm loosing feeling in whole foot. I have fitted new insoles but it didn't help. I just came back from a shop where they told me, that insoles won't help and they cannot do anything about the shell due to the point of problem. The guy advised me to buy new boots, better fitted to my feet. I had these boots 3 times on me and it was not cheap either. My natural thinking is - let me see if there is definitely nothing I can do. Anyone had this issue? Anyone has any ideas? If no, if I need to buy new boots, how to avoid same problem? THANKS! Andrea
