  1. friend gave me a pro tip for dealing with the stick - pretend the stick isnt there - it worked. definitely insta360 x3 is your shout for self recording. Best 360 cam. example:
  2. hi all, I seen Benji Karl in person back in 2022. He uses lifts on heel and toe - at the same time using a 50 cm stance (which is relatively small for a guy of 185 cm height) Seen a few racers back at SG Camps - most run both heel lifts, with some peeps running front foot flat. Agree with @Coreythat you need to try and listen to your body what on what is comfy and what is not. I personally like lifts as they allow me to extend the stance and have a little more fore/aft balance control. @Pew this is very much a personal preference/need whether you use lifts/cants. What makes you feel that you are missing out on anything? the current setup isnt working for you?
  3. In Poland each of the slopes has got their own rules, to which you agree when you use the slope/buy ticket. I just looked through couple resorts and they either all mention the "FIS decalogue" that contains all rules about giving way to people below you, keeping your speed in line with your skills.
  4. couldnt agree more - and one would hope that at a ski club a certain etiquette should be taught.
  5. i wouldnt say that he isnt going fast. I saw him when I started to ride, he was behind me for ca 200m. I have relative stiff board with 14m radius and was going with the fall line without utilizing the full width. I always look up 3 times before starting to ride and I am waiting for "hole" in the crowd.
  6. I will come with the Crew one day!
  7. Just a word of caution for everyone I looked up thrice and the coast was clear, yet still it came out of nowhere Thankfully nothing broken, just in a bit of pain. Skier reckones that t was my fault and I should be happy he didn't break my neck Stay safe you all. https://www.instagram.com/reel/C1-FV90MGlj/?igsh=MTRic2xkeGtrdnByag== *not sure why i cant embed the link
  8. Hey Gerald, couldnt agree more. I did try a few plates too, ranging from Allflex, SG, Vist and finally landed on Sinline. Maybe not as extensive as you did, but I ended up with the same conclusion. I really like the original sinline plate and I chose it for daily driver. Gives enough stability and grip when compared too allflex, without the brick weight that you get out of allflex (at least in longitudinal). I did try the world cup sinline, but deemed it a touch too heavy for daily driver. if anybody is thinking an allflex insert pattern plate for carving, look no further - Sinline is your port of call. Also riding M stiffness at 80 kgs. Cheers
  9. Let me rekindle this topic with classic japanese rodeo hand Love the jumps L
  10. @Shred Gruumer 2008ish UPZ RTR
  11. this is just a visualization. board is in the production as we speak. should be ready in couple weeks. I keep you posted for sure
  12. gotta brag a little. making a new Sense Race board. 14m radial radius, 174 cm lenght, race beskar construction. meet the Sensalorian This is the way! P.S. will come plated with SINLINE
  13. maybe I know little about snowboarding and setups, but it kinda feels like this much heel lift would put your hips rotated towards heelside? probably would feel like driving with a steerting wheel permanently in turned position?
  14. thats how it looks like: https://www.instagram.com/p/CfXyusuDtF0/ i spoke to some korean guys that ride dry slopes and they say they use standard silver tape though
  15. Hi all, Our carving company just finished the season at Molltaller Gletscher We had a pleasure to meet again with Sense snowboard maker Andrej and Gasper representing @Sinline plate. Njoy!
  16. If i have a chance to find a board wide enough to accommodate my feet at these angles i will check. Accepted
  17. Amazing how far snowboarders can go just to troll other snowboarders
  18. That was the point. Agree that binding angles will make more difference in the position/technique then anything else.
  19. Hi, Hardboots - sense snowboards racecarve 174, 951 boots, 57 52, at 52 cm stance Softies - adidas lexicon with nitro phantom carver bindings. 39 33 angles 55 cm stance. Nobile sbx 163 boards. 25.5 waist.
  20. Right so, couple weeks ago there was a heated discussion on one of the snowboard groups about how does the softboot carving technique differs from shells carving technique. i decided to put together a video that could show the difference. bear in mind that I have not been riding softies for more the 8 years hope you enjoy: regards L

  23. hi all, just wanted to brag a little : we just hosted together with Nobile and INK Snowboarders group - 2nd Beskid Sport Arena Carving sesh! Weather wasnt great at it was +9 degrees celsius, but we had fun anyway! Maybe it isnt as grand as your MCC, but nevertheless its a free initiative to promote carving and share knowledge between people and spread the good vibe! catch a few glimpses: https://www.instagram.com/p/Co2_hPdg4pk/ https://www.instagram.com/p/Coz5d1wMm2D/ regards L
