  1. If any are left at the end of event, I will put them on our website.
  2. https://www.skiturner.com/cameras Watch what you are missing Sunday with Michael and Iris getting some warm up laps in.
  3. I have not found the best answer on long lasting carving gloves or mitts. Shoe Goo I have found is the longest lasting product to add as protection. The Thor mitts with seams and palms protected with Shoe Goo is pretty darn good. I really like mitts with wrist guards and they are really hard to find. Dakine had a Nova mitt with wrist guards, but they no longer make them. Shoe Goo protective layers added extended the life significantly. Level had the Super Carve but they no longer make those and they were silly expensive and needed Shoe Goo. Dragging hands should be done with extreme caution, it is a magnificent way to get finger, wrist, arm and shoulder injuries. Thor is a great supporter of the sport and will take your input to improve the product. I do like supporting companies like this.
  4. We have some amazing sponsors / partners at MCC. Link to https://montuckyclearcut.com/partners to visit our amazing sponsors! Not seen 4-5 boards, 2 sets of bindings, 1 set of hard boots, 3 onesies, coats, and so very much more! Funds raised are donated to Turner Mtn Ski Patrol. Last year we raised $5500 for them.
  5. You are correct. Some times the end of the cable sleeve frays and makes it challenging to remove. Good luck!
  6. Yes! Carl is planning on being there. And Winterstick! @soccerdoge Rob will be joining us for a couple days also
  7. @Carvin' Marvin Donek, Coiler, Ace Skwal, Rad-Air and Exegi are all providing demos!
  8. After looking at my bindings, yours should look like @slabber's photo with an e-clip to prevent it from sliding out. The toe part of the SW binding appears to be pressed into place.
  9. Beautiful board. Too wide for my taste.
  10. Shirts and hats from Mutant Printing nailed it!
  11. Contra 194.... Did I ride that one? I might be interested in that one. What was the waist width and sidewall data? Thanks!
  12. I am not sure what to tell you for the concept. @Shred Gruumer said that I should try a wider stance and 6 degree cants, so I did and found it to be quite comfortable. I did not change my boot lean with the change. I just try different combos till I find what works for me.
  13. On video because I edit it out.
  14. 2019 MCC Tuesday and Wednesday. 18-24 on Tuesday and 18-24 on Wednesday. Top to bottom fall line powder turns all day long, with the coolest people on the planet. Hoping for a repeat of that one of these years!
  15. Yes my front boots are more vertical than my back boots. This set up is what works for me. My suggestion is to ride and tweak until you find your sweet spot.
  16. Yes, first two photos front boot. When setting them up, I just tweaked them until I found where I like them while riding. 5mm Allen works great for tuning to your liking. Red springs on carving set up, yellow on pow setup. there really is no right or wrong with boot and binding setup, only what works for you.
  17. @fluxgamethey do not have the ability to mold liners at the Turner ski shop.
  18. Let me check with Perry that runs the ski shop at Turner.
  19. @fluxgame If you need to ship new boots to Libby, you can have them shipped to my parents place there and I can get them to you Sunday evening before the event. Yes good run on the life of those. We saw at least 2 old boots explode last year at MCC. See you soon!
  20. It all depends on one of the variables I have no control over…weather. We have had 4 days of great carving, and 4 days of mega powder on the first year of the event. There should be plenty of powder boards between the demos and rental boards at ski shop. See you all soon!
  21. Looking good! Don’t forget to bring a pow setup! https://powderchasers.com/forecasts/Powder-Alert-Northern-Rockies-Interior-BC-New-England
  22. Our fine partners at Sol SunGuard will be providing some amazing swag! These are some of the finest sun screen I have ever used!
  23. I use more forward lean on back boot. Running 6degree lift on front toe and 6 degree lift on back heel. lots of ways to find what is comfortable and works well.
  24. Yes the cable does wear out over time, but if you follow the procedure that Fin originally had in the directions. "Push down on your heel, then pull cable to release" you will limit the strain on the internals. Opening them up once a year to grease and inspect will lengthen the life. I switched from toe bail to all step-in after many broken bails and a few crazy scary one footed carves. I have not had a single step-in binding release without my desire to. Make sure the pins are engaged and ride.
